Contracts......the cornerstone of libe(R)tarianism, matter at differing rates.

Guess who's contracts get short changed?

"The debate over public pensions shows clearly the contempt that the elites have for ordinary workers. While elites routinely preach the sanctity of contract when it works to benefit the rich and powerful, they are happy to treat the contracts that provide workers with pensions as worthless scraps of paper.

We see this attitude on display currently in the Detroit bankruptcy proceedings. It is even more clearly on display in efforts by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to default on the city's pension obligations."

But Detroit's emergency manager, Kevin Orr, thinks a constitutional guarantee is just a joke that you tell people to trick them into working

So, that's what his major malfunction is.

His major dysfunction, is that he's a teabagge(R)/libe(R)tarian lawyer, that doesn't care about laws. so he crushes them wherever, whenever he can.

Besides, that's just a measly State constitution, it's not legally binding like the contracts he defends.

Judges can be paid to shred it's provisions to the little people.

the darkest of recent years in san diego government

was the sell out of city employment pensions

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

So they sold out the 99% ahead of time?

That would be an interesting story, do you have a few links to why it was done and what happened to those affected?

Same as always

they find someone who abuses the system

then use that as an example to destroy the system

Libertopians are so damn cool. All the worlds a chew toy. Moronic jack asses.

Tax payer paid pensions for lobbyists, whilst they gut them for people who actually busted their asses for 30 years or more.

Ain't libe(R)topia grand?

Stop electing the rich to manage your life.

I know that's what you've been doing in Florida all along.

We've been trying not to do that here in Michigan. A fact that you've completely ignored and still are.

Do some work in your home community.

Inform the World, as to what Mr. Scott has done and is still doing, instead if ignoring it.

Charity begins at home.

Think Global, act local.
