I love what's going on here. I have a notion to contribute. The demands of Occupy Wall Street will not be met without leverage. Protests are a good start, but don't have a lot of teeth. Leverage an not be gained by voting as voting is just a wash: both parties are in on the scam. Here is my notion: call for a general strike. But not a work stopage. Instead, call for a stopage in paying mortgages. If 5,000,000 Americans agree to not pay their mortgage for the Summer of 2012, there is no way "they" can get all of us. And, "they" will be out of money quite soon. Refusing to pay our mortgages, en masse, will bring the power elite, the 1%, to the table. It will give this movement some leverage.

I like the idea, it needs some fine tuning though. We do need teeth and we need to determine what those teeth are going to be. I think it would be a bit hard to get people to do that though. Not only that but banks do most of their business with businesses. They would still have a dizzying amount of money and would probably end up owning the country. Keep thinking though, we have to figure out something.
