Forum Post: Lets put our cards on the table

We have momentum. We have the attention of the country. Now lets put our cards on the table and get something done. What we need is a way to organize and find a direction out of the amorphous movement. There must be overlap somewhere. There must be some common ground that we can stand on. How do we figure out where that is? I would like to propose a solution to that. I am founding a lobbying organization to represent the interests of the majority. The organization has no platform except to support the interests of the majority of our membership. We will be polling our membership to determine what issues we will support. Any issue that gains 65% support or opposition we will take that position to our elected leaders.
This will help us not only develop a platform and find commonality, but also supply us with ammunition for the effort.
