They are firmly against government regulation, But they demand the authorities silence the occupation. They are against paying taxes for government services, But they lobby the government to protect their situation. They shed tears for the loss of American values, But they pay-off their talk show hosts to try to control the news, They demand the cutting of Social Security and Medicare, But don’t you lay a finger on one cent of their share. They want to live without the EPA snooping, And never reveal just how low they are stooping, They want the status quo to continue forever, But when the system breaks down no one can be that clever. They want to ship jobs to countries without toilets, Then decry the new America and wonder who spoiled it. They hide in their offices and produce shoddy products, Then beg the government they hate to re-fill their pockets. They fear the young and the educated and the adept, And blame the weakest of us for the economy they have wrecked. They are firmly against government regulation, So let’s occupy their abandoned factories and take back our nation!
