Ron Paul said he'd put people like Dennis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders in his cabinet. I hope people in this movement will remove biases and take a really good look at him.

Many agree with you. The Tea Party was actually started by Ron Paul supporters before it was usurped by the media and its dirty money mongers.

Yes the left right cage needs to be removed. You need to think out of the box and quit letting people make you think a certain way think for yourself.

I love Ron Paul on social and foreign issues, but his economic and government views is why I could never vote for him, not that it matters anyway.

Unfortunately, I think Ron Paul is out of touch with reality. Its great that he has been such a successful figurehead though, he at least is engaging in political thought outside the corporatist mainstream and has some good ideas

We should rename it "Youth Movement". The problem we are facing is much bigger than just Wall Street. We have to stand up for the Future Generations and let the Youth's voice be heard on issues such as Taxes, Lobbyist, Education, Healthcare, Wars, etc...

Thank you Tomis! I am somewhat despondent ... the Tea Party started with a Ron Paul (Libertarian) agenda that is very similar to the beginnings of OWS. (I believe I have some authority to say this because I was clued in on the beginnings of both movements and physically present at both at their very beginnings). I dropped the Tea Party post-haste as soon as it was co-opted by the right (esp Palin who tried to take advantage). This movement then gave me hope but it seems to have been co-opted even faster by the left with an agenda. (Michael Moore's entrance - no difference between him and Palin - was my first clue). If we could drop the left/right shit and stop denigrating one side or another, we would take a first step to coming together without the elites who want to control the conversation.

I've never voted for a Republican in my life, but I believe I would vote for Ron Paul if he gets the nomination. Unfortch, I don't think he will.

I am tempted to officially switch parties just to vote in the R primary.

I like some of Ron Paul's platform-- staying out of illegal wars!-- but his monetary policy is pretty bad. I completely understand and respect his reasons for getting rid of fiat currency and the fed, but the gold standard is not the way to go.

agreed, the left /right dualism is a mental cage... on BOTH sides.

and Obama said that hope had returned to America. Funnily enough, there are a lot of things you can say when you're running for office.

That's the amazing part of being a politician, promise things and never do them (until re-elections come again). Ask Obama.

I don't understand that; Bernie Sanders is a self-avowed socialist. Why would Ron Paul put someone like that in his cabinet? We're trying to throw people like him OUT of our government.
