I have not participated in the protests but I don't think a leader is what is needed. A leader could muffle the voice of the people. And out voice seems to have been forgotten. The elections occur and whoever is voted into office claim that they are the ones that the people of nation want in control of the government. But the votes go back and forth from republican to democrat....the only thing the elections have shown is that people want a change. We have not been able to have change because the leaders have not been able to give it to us.
I think that we as a nation, the people need to have a louder voice. I think people as a whole want something different. Something different....it is more than just the 1% that has affected out life, however. It is our inability to come together as people.
I think that the movement is first step to something different...we want things to be more accessible. This world and our lives are more about caring for one another, our families, strangers, friends, co-workers...this life is about growth, love, and joy. We have walked away from this in the pursuit of money....
It has infitrated....it's not personal, it's business is what people say but life no matter what it is, is personal...when you die you don't have money to take with you....
The movement is not only about wall street, about the rich it seems that this movement has become something different to each person and maybe its because what people want is change, equality, acceptance, happiness, and yes financial freedom.
There will come a time when the movement needs leadership. This would best be a council of leaders to avoid the problem of giving too much power to one person. The council may appoint a spokesperson who would not have the actual power.
People who feel that they could fulfill a leadership role should step forward.
I believe the initial occupations have accomplished their goal of raising awareness and now the job is to unite the people and create change.
A well-put response. A council of leaders would be ideal. And an articulate spokesperson(s) for media appearances. I like.
Agreed. who will come forward?
they only say where people can go to speak their mind...not what to say or how to feel.
don't kid yourself. there are leaders. someone is pulling strings to fan the fire of people's sentiments and get them to do all the things they are doing. however ... well intentioned... it may be, an agenda being played out here.
Of course there is someone or somebody behind this site and behind some of the aspects to the movement but it seems that many people did not need too much of a push into the movement. i have not participated....i am unable to because i work but i support the change that they are wanting.....or the change that i assume that they want.....or maybe the change that i would like to see.
Useful Idiots I say.
They have a leader, Soros and his Flying Monkeys and the DemonRat party.
there is a leader, this website is evidence, just another lie this movement is push, They say they are a "leaderless resistance" and yet this site is telling everyone what to do and what do they do? follow
