Forum Post: Leader Needs to Step Up

The forum is to discuss who the leader of OWS should be. Rioting will not change policy. A leader needs to step up and helps us stay in control. Please recommend leaders and why they would be good. I have no affiliation with OWS. I merely see the need for a Ghandi to step up and lead us.
T-h-e-y try SOO HARD to infected The MESSAGE by planting riots or out of hands bandits/pot-smokers individuals to protesters Peaceful gathering.
I SOO HOPE, that that puppet-mastered trick for Media and Sleeping mass-Majority will fell, and more and more people join the March.
I support Mission of Awakening and Global economy changing for better future of our Planet and our children, BUT, really, - ANONYMOUSLY its will NOT Working. Lets get REAL, and gather not just feed-up shouts, but Real Platform for stepping World into NEW Direction of Equality and Peace.
To be able to transfer from chaos of Re-volution to productive E-volution we need to FIND SOLUTION to END Hunger, Human trafficking, Power abuse from Social leaders and Media , dirty money laundry from narco- war- oil global net, abuse of Nature sources and so on.
I am SOO ON - but without Leadership its seems impossible.
Do not necessarily need leader but at least Organization and Leadership. Platform needs to be simple and straightforward, not a list of long Demands. If you begin to have long list of demands, there is no end. Everybody has their own ideas but we have to find those issues which resonate the strongest. In other words, what issues would get the support of close to 60% of Americans. I suggest the following 4 Reforms. They are broad enough to subsume others and I believe have the support of the overwhelming majority of Americans. 1) Reform Tax Structure; 2) Reform Wall Street & Banks; 3) Reform Electoral Process; and 4) Reform Legislative Process. Jobs can be tied into the first; controlling the abuses and corruption in the Financial industry the second; public funding of Federal elections as well as Voting on Sunday & a Paper trail for all balloting for the third; and, lastly, elimination of filibuster and other parliamentary procedures which hamper the legislative process. Help for Students, Home-owners and those needing Medical Insurance could be a 5th item. We need to come up with four or five demands under which some others can be subsumed. We need a simple marketing package. If we find this impossible to accomplish because of the great diversity of opinion, we may have ultimately have a problem. At the very least, we need organization with chapters throughout the country. Structure and leadership are important to the development of the Movement to take it to the next level.
Time to get money out of politics on both sides of the aisle and fix our corrupt and bought out trade, tax and banking system.

It's true. A leaderless resistance is too easy to sideline as unsophisticated and disorganized.
As I've said here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/aaron-greenspan/occupy-wall-street_b_990693.html , demands need to be specific. Whoever is representing people needs to understand the issues. The irony here is that the issues are so complex that 99% of people don't understand them, experts included.

Hmmmmm, if the people cannot recognize solutions, and only know problems and issues, how would they ever know a leader? Leaders are about solution.
