Forum Post: Law enforcement officers with cameras?

I've watched quite a few documentaries of historic rebellions and uprisings that ocurred both within the U.S. borders and outside of them, but never have I seen such a density of law enforcement officers taping violent action. It makes me wonder; are they taping for their own (or their political masters) posterity? As we (OWS) are, so may be they...

Just so you know, facial recognition is built into most consumer-grade photo organization software these days.

They tape you for a facial recognition databank. They have a computer that can match your face shape with exact precision, so if you have been in more than one protest, they can start up a file on you.

I think they just record things because so many people in OWS do. You need the perspective from both sides, especially considering how easy it is to edit video to just show what you want.
