Well, first we had Obama's and Congress's initial reactions to the OWS movement- Signing Free Trade Agreements with Columbia, Panama, and S. Korea
Talk about shoving up the union's ass as usual.
And now we have both parties passing the NDAA. Obama will sign it, and another huge step towards a military, fascist state is completed.
And then in 10 years, just like with Glass-Steagall, everyone will look around and scream how could this happen.
Freakin Sheeple............
And most will blame either the Dems or the Reps, as usual.
It will be a said display this summer when the people who vote flock to Tampa and Charlotte, clamoring that their guy has the answers.
There is no answers to broken parties.
Democrats bend over and take it as usual
Americans love having CRIMINALS in Congress-

You are a partisan hack, I can tell, disguised as an Occupy supporter.

Sorry Zenny, everyone knows you are the hack here, its well agreed upon. I even see people talking about it in threads you arent involved in!!!!
Come to Tampa, come to OccupyTampa, and see for yourself. Unless you are too busy working for the Democrats! HAHAHAHAHAHA
I don't care what people are saying behind my back. I'm used to it. Whatever.
I'm really kinda transparent - it's a matter of choice.
And I do genuinely support the aims of this movement. I'm not sure you can truly say the same -
faux nuuz
I mean, common. Nobody I know in the movement follows them.
Just you
Where are you getting the fox news shit? See Zen, this is the problem with partisan hacks. Not only can they not think for themselves, but when someone else challenges them, they automatically assume the other must be the opposite!!
Its very predictable. And very sad. Where are all hte thinkers?
I was busy thinking when Poplawski went off and shot three Pittsburg cops.
he was one of Glenn Beck's golden boys.
Other news from the right wing fringe:
A heavily-armed man who was angry at liberals in Congress allegedly opened fire on police in Oakland
Byron Williams, Sunday, July 18, 2010, injures two officers in a shootout
the article also references:
In April 2009, 22-year-old Richard Poplawski allegedly opened fire on police who responded to a 911 call from Poplawski's mother. Poplawski, who was wearing a bullet-proof vest and was armed with an assault rifle and two other guns, survived the ensuing four-hour gun battle -- but three police officers were killed. His friends said he feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon."
and:
This past May, Jerry Kane and his teenage son Joe opened fire on police, killing two officers, when after they were pulled over on the highway in West Memphis, Arkansas. Kane and his son, who were killed by police later that day, traveled the country giving debt-elimination seminars based on an anti-government theory that all bank loans and modern finance are fundamentally illegitimate. Kane had also complained about being stopped at a "Nazi checkpoint" in New Mexico and fantasized about beating up IRS agents.
We'll probably find out more about the Williams case in Oakland in the coming weeks. One apparent focus of the investigation is a three-ring binder labeled "California" that authorities found in his truck.
Nice diversion attempt but the topic was the latest bipartisan screwing including:
I answered that here
the quote you cite, was a response to this
You can claim I was attempting a diversionary tactic, but that is hardly the case, as this review clearly illustrates.
hchc posted accurate information about bipartisan actions. How is that 'partisan'?
I don't think the NDAA is exactly as it has been portrayed by those who are clearly attempting to generate hysteria.
I do oppose those portions of the bill that obscure the responsibility of law enforcement with regard to terrorists. I've left my comments on that elsewhere.
As far as NAFTA like agreements go, I don't like them. what do you want me to say? That provides justification to hand the keys over to repelicans?
Hardly. Get them out of there. Then isolate and ostracize the rest of Congress that acts contrary to the interest of the public. It's a very simple process.
Really.
The only thing sadder than realizing your party has sold you out, is selling yourself out by continuing to vote for them.
Actually in Vermont we have really good representation, thanks.
And the fact remains:
the repelican party is DONE
Must be disconcerting, huh
Not disconcerting to me at all. I'm not a Republican.
Who knows. This guy is a real piece of work!
