Forum Post: K-Street Occupation

Question: Wouldn't it make more sense to occupy K-Street than Wall Street? Almost none of the grievances listed in the NYC General Assembly's declaration would be possible without the essential help of government. I don't disagree that corporations enjoy undue influence on governments but influence isn't stolen, it's sold. Shouldn't the emphasis be on removing the sale of influence rather than removing the means to purchase influence? Making money is still a right. Selling law shouldn't be.
