surprised ive only seen one person doing that. No doubt youll get more attention that way. I know a movie isnt real life but hey why not
just waiting. just the problem. so many people neat poetry and images and no work. you posted an extra thread here to express this... as is everyone... talking past each other, not reading each other, just emitting, not thinking about whats important or what brings us to focus... and piling all of this stuff up in one place so that the focus is harder for other people to achieve while they come click on your thread. I'm looking forward to seeing adult work get done and am not that interested in adolescent mask wearing.
The reason why it is powerful is that everyone looks the same, thus it is a united front. This mass of people stand here all for the same cause. It is hard in such a movement for people to be singled out and picked off. We, the 99%, are all the same, and we all have the same general goals. A reasonable job w some benefits and guaranteed pension at retirement. A roof over our heads. A little extra money. Some education for our kids.
but we are not the same, we are individuals each with our own goals and reasons for being part of this movement. I think letting them see the face of every person they have wronged (much like Ghost Rider's Penance Stare) will have a greater impact.
Correct we r all not the same. But for the purposes of just the movement itself, we are.
I want them to see my face, I want them to see all of our faces so they have to look other humans in the eyes and tell them exactly why they thought steeling from us was right. I don't want the corrupt leaders to be able to dehumanize us because we are hiding behind masks.
Show them your face and you will see fear in the eyes of the corrupt leaders.
Why? Because y'all are a bunch of clowns?
Sorry gawdoftruth, have you not seen V for Vendetta? Believe me in the movie they got some adult work done. Everyone wearing the same mask really makes a statement. Sara1 you are on track.
