For the people to be in control of Congress, not the corporations, special interests, or the wealthy. If we continue protesting in a thousand different directions, a corrupt Congress will again be reelected. And our rights will be eroded at an ever quickening pace as new legislation is enacted to the point where protest itself will be illegal. There are many worthy injustices to protest, but if we lose that right, all other causes become insignificant. We must focus on electing all new representatives, untainted by corporate money, as well as drying up the funds for current representatives.

Finally someone with common sense on the website! I support you 100%. I'm tired of the movement trying to fix 100 problems at the same time. It's time we focus our efforts on one, concrete demand. I say demand because it is not a suggestion, not a request, it is an ultimatum that Congress be a representative body of the people not the lobbyists. The disconnect between DC and the rest of America is appalling! We go to war, lose habeus corpus and have our currency devalued everyday because Congress is either too arrogant or too satiated with corporate money to see how these things will affect the American people.

Term limit. 2 terms then out you go.

Better yet, accept corporate money and don't get elected in the first place.

Wouldn't work because they would just promote themselves for their career after serving 2 terms.

To much to ask. Even of OWS.
