I think this "exercise" pales in comparison to what has actually happened and continues to on a daily basis in this country.

Bush turned the country into a battle ground. Obama is executing and improving it.

Can't wait to see what the next loser has in store for us.

Because everyone knows that problems are solved through the barrel of a gun.

Who woulda thunk it?

Peace and prosperity through indiscriminate killing of the poor.

Well gosh - I feel so ashamed of myself - thinking that peace health and prosperity for all could come from making improvements to society. BUT - Just think how wasteful that would be after TPTB have invested all this money into arms for peace.

And the longer the people do not unite to remove active evil from government - the more possible it will be and sooner that we could see -

Yes, put lesser differences aside, and unite for the greater good. It can all start here on this forum.

Absolutely - and I do - what I don't do is let the do nothing mutts have free reign to continue to promote their do nothing program. THEY - have always been dead set against the people uniting to own the system.

People owning the system.

It's never been done before.

And yet they say - it's all been done before and has not worked.

And that is a blatant lie.

They say protest the system but do not try to own it.

Because by protesting alone - every thing will get better ( I guess because their theory is that protest will just make the evildoers go away all on their own).

These same mutts actively try to discredit Bernie - but you will never catch them tearing away at a rethuglican.

They falsely conflate the dems with the rethuglicans as being just as bad. The fact that we still have access to the internet - puts the lie to that erroneous claim.

They practically howl in dis-pare and outrage at the mention that the people should unite to immediately remove all of the actively evil from government.

They do not support progressives - all they have ever supported - is for people to do nothing other than protest.

Well now - isn't that just a calling for jade helm to be implemented here on this country?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Well now - ya see? That report should have the NRA and the right wing extremists breathing a sigh of relief. As they are OK - because they are not out there protesting for civil rights or for justice to be served on killer cops. Hell they aren't even protesting the fact that they don't have health care or a living wage............... ummmm wait a mo........no no I think I could be wrong about that . . . . .oh that's right - they are angry about this stuff - but they blame it on the dems - who are not nor ever have been the majority in government in their states and so are not the ones working against them.

No no - the right wing extremists should be feeling pretty comfortable right now considering that they hate the Blacks and every colored people - so they would be right with the program of suppressing that population.

Heaven help em though if they ever open those willfully blind beady eyes of theirs and actually recognize - that while they may not be in the acceptable killing cross-hairs of the local police ( at this point in time) - if they ever realize that the local government that they support does not support them as it should - if they further realize that the federal representatives that they elect really could care less about them and in fact have been working against them for decades - wellllllllllll - they might just wanna keep quiet about their discovery or find themselves in a nasty place - a place they reserve as acceptable for colored people.

Because for some insane reason - it has been found acceptable to use force against the needy - rather than make real improvements to society. Whats the rational for that? Is it - well we got this huge MIC and all of this monumentally expensive equipment already - and that equipment needs to be used or some of it will get to old (ammunition) to be reliable - soooooo - OH and we need to keep our troops properly trained and motivated for our overseas campaigns of peace through indiscriminate killing (actually control of and access to fossil fuel resources and rare earths).............................

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

What is the NRA's take on this? One would expect that a major portion of their membership have got to be screaming.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Baiting Right Wing Extremists into a full on armed confrontation. That makes a lot of sense. Those idiots are primed to go off - have been for forever. Hence the reaction of Texass governor to these upcoming exercises.

[-] 6 points by elf3 (4203) 9 years ago

I don't know...are they wrong? Are they extremists anymore than we are? Aren't we after the same cause? What has your government done for you lately DKA? Sold you out to multinational conglomerate corpirate rapists...surprise we may just be on the same team.

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

I'm just saying that they would be easy to bait (right wing extremists) - but my following comment is more questioning of the whole thing:

Those confederate wing-nuts have been looking for an excuse ever since they lost the 1st civil war.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Seriously disturbing. They had no reason to move her from where she was - she was out of the way - looked like a fair distance away from the road - looked to be far beyond the shoulder of the road. There was absolutely no excuse for him to jump her and then taser her. I hope she is able to sue that asshole - successfully - and the assholes partner for aiding and abetting.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

I mean why else should this program be tested on USA civilians? It could all be done - a to z - overseas in the war on terror - right? But then again this is not the 1st time in history that USA civilians have been used as Guinea Pigs - Lab Rats.

Justifications?

The least compliant populations pose the most threat. Revolutions are born somewhere. It is a counter measure for absolute control over the populous. We have been colonized by gov and corpirate industrial merger. They always send out sentinels to the populations with the most rumblings and resistance. Fbi infultrating Occupy as well. It is nothing for them to do it ...just another day in Washington. But...enough to prevent us from forming something that may eventually pose a problem. Better to stop us before we start...right?

Good post. It's too late for the plutocrats to stop this struggle. "Resistance" has been steadily building, and it is being fueled by yet more abuses that the corrupt system is piling on.

All it requires - is - enough expressed vitriol for the system in general - and many will believe you mean it - while one need not provide any supporting substance.

4th track: (Fooling You)

We support the status quo - though you wouldn't know - cause we are so sneaky and say damn it all - with no plan at all to change it at all. So we say do nothing at all - and - it will all - just get better - well just because. If ya go for that one - we also have water rights leases to some real fresh sparkling fracked ground water we can let ya have for cheap.

  • by (mdonelly & turbocharger - harmonizing - the Cronies singing back-up)

I mean - what's the plan? You say you have one - but funny thing - just like Boner when asked about his (the rethuglican) alternative to the ACA - you always come back with NOTHING. Well except for continuous evasions.

Personally - I don't see where red state fanatics should be worrying about jade helm. I mean - why stir them up to a point of open warfare? They are already blindly supporting the system in their states and their federal representation - that has their boots standing on their throats.

So why would TPTB - want to upset that particular apple cart?

Doesn't make sense.

What might make some sense - is - if jade helm was used to suppress the populations in these areas (red states) that are actively protesting for equality and for health care access for all and for a minimum "living" wage and are protesting the abuses of the local government and the local police ( no justice no peace). In which case the right wing extremists should be happy - and not be pissing in their pants.

[-] 3 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 9 years ago

The un will take their 2nd amendment? They should worry for the TPP taking their sovereignty

Jh seems like conspiracy, couldn't watch whole video, but first part, msurveilance, is likely. With all the 911 bills and laws

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Well the thing is - as I see it. The country is nervous about what is going on. We have the Patriot Act the NSA mass surveillance the phenomenal growth of the Home Land Security. We have killer cops and the local governments that support them (no justice no peace). We see the methodical take over by the domestic and multinational corp(se)oRATions. Then we have a faction of the senate and congress that are dead set against anything to do with protecting our air land or water and could give a damn about the population - are dead set against health care for all or a minimum living wage - who want to privatize &/or end Social Security. Then a president that betrayed everything he has ever said about supporting the people - with his push for the very secret TPP and fast tracking it.

And . . . . well . . . I can very well understand the growing unease and outright hysteria that is growing by leaps and bounds.

But now - along comes jaded helm. So what? Hasn't the military always held training exercises in the south lands? Is that not basically where we have major training facilities? Is not a good portion of the UN forces supplied by the USA military? Does not the USA MIC also supply a good portion of the UN military equipment? Have we not also always trained these USA supplied and equipped troops?

So a part of me says what's the big deal about this jaded helm?

But then we also have growing unrest and growing protests about government abuses. So some may wonder - what will the military do (be used for) - if things continue to go downhill for the population at large?

Add in the insane stance on not abandoning fossil fuel ASAP and that same faction in government denying global warming and humanities part in feeding it.

Then there are reports formulated like :

Davenport, Coral. Pentagon Signals Security Risks of Climate Change. New York Times. October 13, 2014.

And now what should a good portion of the population be thinking?

[-] 3 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 9 years ago

"The report is the latest in a series of studies highlighting the national security risks of climate change. But the Pentagon’s characterization of it as a present-day threat demanding immediate action represents a significant shift for the military, which has in the past focused on climate change as a future risk"....from your link

Scary report from your link. Too bad capitalism does not care for survival of the planet and people.

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Profits at ALL COST. And it only works if the government is out for itself to reap profits off of catering to the capitalists - and it will continue on till we are all dead from the practices of profit at ALL COST.

Unless of course - that is - that those in government who are out for their own profit at ALL COST - are removed from office. This can be done.
