Does this government really wants to get us better education? then why do they make higher education so hard to achieve! At least they want us to pay for the min of $20,000 + a year it takes to go to any undergraduate or graduate school. And yes somewhere along they are cheaper school, and yes you can get a lot of scholarships etc. but that still is not making it affordable.
Most of my friends and myself are piled in student loans, even still when I got a lot of money for free and applied and got many scholarships. I ask myself where is the promise of this country. Education only for those that can afford it or for the dreamer that wants to be in debt for the rest of their lives. There is only a few graduate programs that will pay for your education no questions ask, very few. I am applying to those, forget the rest. It's business, who is getting the cut? not me, not your but the 1% of this country. It's not fair and it has to stop. If you are a student or are thinking to go back to school make your voice heard. You know how hard you have worked to be where you are at!
I called the congressman and they say they will pass the message along. Well, that seems to be taking a really long time. It's time for Action, now or never.
