Thank you to all for the great dialogue. I also take part quite a bit on Hubski. You can check out there OWS tag here: http://hubski.com/tag?id=occupywallstreet
I think it's important to carry on a substantive dialogue about the issues that we hold dear: Fair taxation WITH representation, education, healthcare and accountability for those that knowingly put our citizenry at risk.
I obviously spend my time at Hubski and here, I'm wondering where you all go to gather information and news (not just about ows) that you find credible?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks for the links, these are ALL new to me. I will check each one out. I went to "information clearing house" and saw the numbers from the Iraq War/Occupation and they are staggering!
Thanx for your gracious reply. Merry Xmas and a Peaceful 2012 to you ;-)
Same to you.

It's definitely an interesting idea. I know that a lot of organizations have their work force volunteer their time elsewhere (for good causes) that day.

I think it's a great idea, not necessarily one that would be so easy to implement but still, great idea. It all starts with an idea, right?

That's a good list you've got there but I'd put these on there too:
Scientific American
The Guardian
and Slate
All great reads.
Thanks again, Scientific American had this great piece on the top 10 science stories of 2011. Worth checking out: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=top-10-science-stories-2011
Thanks I'm a fan of all of those, but I have to admit I haven't been buy the Guardian in a long time. Thanks for the reminder. One place that I forgot to mention that I enjoy reading articles at is Vanity Fair. The late Christopher Hitchens was a fantastic writer and I always enjoyed reading him. I didn't always agree with him, but damn if he wasn't entertaining.
Here is a list in order of how often I visit of sites I utilize:
Hubski
Ted
NPR
OWS
Reddit
Drudge
Economist
The New Yorker
The Atlantic
What am I missing?
