Forum Post: Its time to change our public universities employee benefit systems

That is the public universities and their bourgeois professors who profess change but don't want to take less in benefits that might otherwise go to help students payoff or lessen their debts.

No, tenured professors and the administrators feel entitled.

And for what......?

They talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

How about being part of a system that has consistently driven up the cost of education to the point it we are at now relative to student cost for an education.

Less benefits to the bourgeois professors and administrators equals lower tuition for the students I say.

Its a matter of shifting the priorities.....there are pools of REAL money ( hundreds of millions) right now in university foundations and endowments that if shared could help lower student tuition and help payoff student debts.....and I believe would not harm other programs for which that money is currently used for....

Its just a question of priorties .......

That system needs to change but alas to many self interests.
