They win. This is now about Ron Paul, and you can bet I won't be part of it.

I hope this doesn't reflect where the movement is headed, but it's honestly hard to say.

Us liberals will be here, trying to make the world a little better, when you need us.

Parting thoughts from Studs Terkel, talking about The Grapes of Wrath, from an interview on Democracy Now a few years ago that sticks with me - maybe you too:

"When Tom Joad says to Ma Joad, remember at the end of “Grapes of Wrath”? And they’re bullied by the vigilantes and the big growers and the legionnaires, they come to a government camp, and it says Farm Security Administration, a subsidiary of the Department of Agriculture. And the director of that camp, who is made up to look like FDR, by the way, wears pince-nez glasses. I remember the small things. The actor’s name was Grant Mitchell. Isn't that funny? I remember the little things. He says, “This camp is yours” to the Joad family and to others, to the emigres. “This camp is yours, your decision to be made. You do it; we’ll help you find jobs.” So that was the government that is being dismantled, every aspect of the New Deal."

Good night, and good luck.

Really? Just because some of the people here like a politician does not mean that the movement is about said politician. The reality of the situation is that I think the majority of the protesters do not want this to be about supporting any politician. Both Republicans and Democrats are corrupt and represent a very small percentage of their constituents. Don't give up because some people like someone.

RP supporters do this on every political board. It is normal. Actually i think it is only 1-2 of them with a handful of accounts. They post basically the same info over and over.

Paulies can vote for Paul if they want. They're not doing it for the movement as a whole, that'll be their decision. Same goes for Obamaheads.

Both parties have let We the People down, so my vote across the board is No Confidence.

Huh? Has Ron Paul been running his mouth again?! This will never be about Ron Paul...or any other sitting politician...this is about the people...the 99% who have to suffer through the corruption and greed caused by the 1%.
