anyone care to elaborate?
If you think it is bad now, wait for the full retrenchment of the boomers, who constitute 37% of the work force, which, in turn, accounts for 67% of the GDP. Everyone will be in survival mode and civilization as we know it will come to an end. As Yeats wrote, the center will not hold:
If you wrote this it is good and true were being Provoked Provocation always leads to stupid mistakes Best to just Ignore the provacators
Compare unemployment rates from the Great Depression to what you see today. That will answer your question.
Idk. The real unemployment rate is about 16.8%. That's as bad as 1936:

It's also about trajectory.
How about you elaborate on what you mean by "feels like?"
buy me a Lexus
Why would you want one?
class statements in society are made by symbols of Materialism I would'nt want one people who think they're better than other's do this kind of thing they think money will buy them security but it don't they are still insecure with who they are
I totally agree with that. Also, it looks pretty silly when a movement is based in the fact that some Americans can afford a Lexus while others can only afford a Honda. Countries in Africa are laughing at us right now.
The More people have the More Unhappy they are The one's who hate and are always miserable are the one's who are wealthy I know cause the one's who are happy are the one's who are poor
Bingo. Wealth does not buy happiness. In many cases it causes unhappiness. It creates a situation where you are never sure if other people's intentions are genuine.
Having a purpose is the key to happiness.
well Unfortunately I don't know anyone who has a purpose anymore but to make l;ife miserable for other's I just disassociate with them
I have as well. My Dad accidentally married one of these militant progressives. She was from Minnesota. Go figure. Thankfully the marriage is over, and he is the happiest I have seen him in years. Until OWS started up, I hadn't been hearing this stuff.
Was she the type who made demands on your Dad? whom seemed she was never pleased??? Who wanted Total Control without sincerity on her part?? Yea I know the type very well
Man, you nailed it. Constant projects for him. The house had all these ridiculous constraints and rituals that just made things more difficult. The man is 69 years old. I started becoming very concerned with how much she was demanding him to take on chores that could hurt him. So did other members in the family, thank God.
"she was a selfish person with no morals If that was me I would have told her to shut up!!"
Oh I almost did a few times. I didn't only out of respect for my father. Oh and how about this for the cherry on top? She was going back to school to get her Masters in French. How absurd is that?
