Congrats on the movement and for finally standing up for the 99% of America that has been gracefully screwed by Wall Street and the corrupt politicians that have allowed the largest transfer of wealth from the average to the 1%. I would love to help lead and develop this movement further.

3- The government may have to pay them more to compensate, but do we want politicians to be part of any corporation at ALL while they're governing? Especially after the abuse we've seen over the last twenty years?

5 has got to be more specific.

10, do people really want the president to have even more power? Look at the last administration.

11, although I support immigration reform such as the dream act, isn't this movement about the excess monies made by the richest 1 percent? Won't this polarize the movement?

12 isn't attainable at this time- there's no way our government in any form is going to pull military bases until we've lost our status as a superpower...which is coming, but not here yet.

13 needs to be more specific- we need real, not vague educational goals.

Also, it may be a little radical to some, but I would certainly like to see some sort of maximum wage or earning limit.

Also, just FYI- I don't know why my text is coming up really big and superbold, or if anyone else can see that, but it's not on purpose.

This is good, these demands are not set in stone and can be negotiated. We can come together eventually we just have to work it out. =D

Cool- yeah, those are my two cents, but I think this is a great start. I can't wait to see more.

[-] 1 points by cleverguise (43) from Myrtle Beach, SC 13 years ago

also I think that how all this would unfold will happen in time, this movement is still in it's baby stages guys, it needs time to develop, so more specific goals will soon form, but we have to keep open communication

Good, 1.) National Wi-Fi (Access to information, it will also circulate the millions paid for the service into the economy.) 2.) Green Energy, Water and Resource Act. ( Aimed at reducing water, and electricity bills to Free. A one time product purchase to power houses ) 3.) High Speed Rail System (To connect the cities and create jobs) 4.) Technology Grant (For every person over 18 only redeemable to purchase computer device made by an American company) 5.) Electric Car Act (Mass production of a single electric car standard) Model T... 6.) Land Act. (Owner laws of unoccupied land must be examined in aim of selling  land to people for reasonable prices to develop green communities that grow their own food) 7.)  Wholistic Healthcare Reform Act (approach medicine from all angles including preventive and natural remedies while also focusing on reducing cost. ) 8.) Education Reform (School Age Change, Three Year Old Pre K Four Year Old School Age. Early Focus on Math and Sciences.) 9.)  Small Business Investment Act (Give small business a chance to rebuild the nation, big business has seemed to fail) 10.) Increase In Global PR (Let us stop spending more money on war than we do on humanitarian campaigns)

Here is a list of demands that will change our economy, our lives, and the world. More details into these Acts and demands coming soon but for now this is what we need, not what we want.

These "demands" are absolutely ridiculous. I can't even decide which one is most laughable! Lets start with #4 - what is your proposal on how to pay for this? Demand #11 basically states that you want noone held accountable for any financial obligations. What message does that send to the people that have consistently paid their bills? Also, you want to outlaw all credit reporting agenscies? They basically did that during the housing boom and look at that mess. I just don't understand your demands and you seem like a bunch of whiners. This is America, go out and earn money instead of complaining about the people that do.

"5. A complete reformation of the United States Tax Code to require all citizens to pay a fair share of a progressive, graduated income tax by eliminating loopholes, unfair tax breaks, exemptions and deductions, subsidies (e.g. oil, gas and farm) and ending all other methods of evading taxes."

I would rather take Ralph Nader's suggestion of eliminating all payroll and income taxes on incomes under $100,000/year and putting a tax on assets above $5 Million per family in place.

Folks like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates don't need any "loopholes". their incomes are tiny compared to the assets they control. You simply will not impact folks like that with income taxes-and they know it. The folks impacted by income taxes are not so much the upper 1%-but the top 5% that haven't yet gotten $5-10 Million in assets.

If we had a 1% tax on assets over $5 Million, Bill Gates would find himself owing $250 Million in taxes each year.

[-] 1 points by cleverguise (43) from Myrtle Beach, SC 13 years ago

For some reason I feel like he could afford that. And over time his assets would go down, as would his tax.

I dont know anything about taxes and I did not write those demands, I'm just reposting them.

At least it's a concise and clear message.

It's good to see idealist out there.

[-] 1 points by beyondmoney22 (233) 13 years ago

i was created for the movement. i truly believe that in my heart. ive been writing this plan for the last 6 months after years of research the problems that face the whole world not just me or america. its kinda funny too my full name literally translated into hebrew is: Enlightend Careful and Prudent Gift from God. i just recently found that out.crazy stuff. which plays into alot of my meta-physical philosophies as we. since i believe that the spirit or souls that inhabbit our physical bodies choose to do so on another plane before we are born. everything in the universe is a product of intelligent design and not random coincidence. every thing is pre-destined. the outcome of this revolution has already happend in greater scheme of the universe where time and space are non-existent. just my beliefs. of course.

[-] 1 points by cleverguise (43) from Myrtle Beach, SC 13 years ago

Those are strong beliefs and I admire that you hold them =] I can also relate on some levels of your beliefs. My name means Gods Messenger, so perhaps I hope I have a greater destiny too? I'm just trying to spread the word in order to help this movement flourish and hopefully we can develop into a greater society. I just want what is good for America, because thats the most that I can ask for, and I just know that the state we are in now is not what is good for us or the rest of the world.

[-] 1 points by beyondmoney22 (233) 13 years ago

Your name is very significant. we are all designed with purpose some more direct purpose. the mediators between the sheep and wolves so to speak. the sheapards of humanity. most peoples destiny fades away and is lost almost right away once they are brought into this "un-natural" perverted existence. that is the purpose of materialism and mass consumerism is to distract us from everything that is real. there are more of us out there who will not be moved, who understand ancient wisdom and philosophy, "old souls" so to speak who are able to still have that divine conviction and its through our dna. the supposed 90% of our brain that we dont need is for our expanded universal awareness that still exists within all of us. but as we are born into this world and began getting brainwashed by our parents first by language and false ideals and then by censorship in schools across the world that widsom becomes lost and dormant inside us all accepting our fate that we are stupid and helpless and know nothing about the ancient world and nothing about the universe and the people who brought us to this place.
