I hope everyone remembers this is a PEACEFUL protest. I just read that there was some violence today and two police officers had to be hospitalized. One had a head injury.

We understand why you are frighted. Change is unnerving. This must be very difficult for you. You and the others who are posting negative comments on this forum are feeling threatened and uncertain. We understand. These are anxious times.Try to consider this from the perspective of those on "the other side" -- THERE IS NO "other side": there is one country, under God.
Yes, there will be incidents. Some people are stressed and make bad decisions. Some are ill. Some are just assholes. They have little to do with the broader movement.
951 cities would not have joined if this movement were not real...

Thanks for your reply. I am with you in spirit. I can't come physically as I'm a single parent and need to be there for my children. I'm following closely, sharing information, signing petitions, etc. I appreciate your kind response.
