You can probably find space at Camp Alinsky (Zuccotti Park).

Keep valuable stuff at home. Remember this a big city and there are a lot of thieves and pickpockets here.

You can't pitch a tent, so don't bother bringing one.

There are no bathrooms, so you will have to use local places like McDonalds.

Bring some anti-diarrheal medication. The cooking station there is not what you would call the most sanitary of kitchens. You are up shit's creek if you get diarrhea here.

Bring warm clothes. In a few weeks it will be close to freezing at night.

No there isn't. Bring a tent and a port-a-poty so you don't stink up the beautiful landscape.

BWAHAHAHA who am I kidding, go shit in the park with the rest of em.

Seriously? What is this a hippie movement? People sleeping at random strangers' homes? Have you ever heard of Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer? Get a hotel room you scrubs!

There are apartments available in Manhattan and Brooklyn where people can get showers and return to the protest. I dont know what is strange or scrubby about that. This thing is going through the winter, if you havent noticed. Also, people with means support the movement, which I guess Rush Limbaugh and others havent noticed yet either. Amazing how long it's taking to "sink in" that this things isnt going anywhere. And please all you haters, what the hell are you doing on this site? Plenty of other places to spew hate.

The trolls think they accomplish something by spewing off unsupportive rants. But, look, it's the real world. We just have to be careful not to feed them. That encourages them. When we talk to them they think they are changing our mind. If they bring up a question in your mind, then research it using reputable sources, but don't engage them. They are 99% lying. ANd, yes, they angry and hateful, this is also reflected in the language they use.

If you were in the inner circle of OWS you could stay in the a nice apartment in the financial district. Unfortunately, you arent as equal as them.

I don't know what you are referring to ... but it's possible someone offered their home for the organizers of the movement to use. What's wrong with that?

No, it has been reported that 6 full time organizers are using the $300,000 funds for an apartment in the financial district
