The news media and talking heads are revving up the spin machine on these protests. Oh my god their asking “What do these people want?”, and “What's their demands for a political solution?”. Truth be told the 99% haven't reared their bloodied heads yet. Don't let this fall into the old polarizing trap of being liberal or conservative. Let this be about being an American! Wake the hell up and look what's been going on for the last 40 years. Its been a systematic dismantling of the American middle class. It's the same old game plan to do it a bit at time, slow and methodical so they don't notice until it's to late for them to react.
Well now that we have been wooed, screwed and tattooed now what? We can't go back and fix this mess. The only people that can be held accountable for this is ourselves. That's right we let this happen to ourselves. It's time to push back and push back hard! This will have no legitimacy until there are millions of everyday citizens in the streets peacefully protesting, and that will start to bring this divided nation back together. There is no quick fix to this mess and anybody who tries to sell you on a quick fix is part of the problem. We're in a rut, a real deep rut. We have been taught 3 things in that past 40 years that made this all possible. First, it's all about me. If you can't figure that one out I'm not taking the time to explain it. Second, the government can provide the solution to our problems. Tell me how well thats worked? Last would be personal responsibility, really you think? How could that be. We are caught up in the blame game. It's never us, it's always something or somebody else that's responsible for our tale of woe.
Until we fix the problems with ourselves we can't move forward with a solution to this mess! So step up, step out and let the pack of assholes at the helm know that “E Pluribis Unum” is back.
