There seems to be a very common belief that "if we only shout loud enough, our government will hear us AND make changes." In my opinion, our government is broken, NOT deaf, and Senator Udall agrees:

When was the last time someone shout at you and you changed your behavior because they shouted at you?
When it was my son, and I cared enough to finally realise that he needed, not only consideration, but to have a voice in our family.
It did not change my opinions or how I lived my life. It allowed me to integrate the needs and opinions so he could have to same right to choose his own way (under the law).
