Tell you what. If you have an alternative to Ipads and other communication devices that's manufactured here in North America, and has an open-sourced OS on it, and that can do all that the Ipad does and more, then hey, suggest it, and I will even back you up by promoting it.

Otherwise, STFU.

It's a matter of principle. By using Chinese made IPads you are betraying the revolution.

And what do you suggest then OWS use as communication devices? Let's hear your alternatives.

Word of mouth. Posters (but not using Chinese made markers). Smoke signals. Look, there is always an excuse why you have to use Chinese made products. But that's how you lose jobs in the USA. For mere convenience you are screwing your fellow human being. You should think about that. Hope you sleep well.

Oh boy, not that it's any of your damn beeswax;

1) All computers I have I never bought new. I either recycled them or threw them together from salvaged parts. No money went to a corporation here. I do not use M$ at all.

2) Three quarters of the possessions I have is second or even third hand. The rest is bought locally from businesses that manufacture locally. Not even a tenth of what I have is "imported".

3) I am more likely to build my own gear or salvage rather than buy brand names. If I recycle a brand name, I sanitize it. That means I remove all logos, insignia and any markings that would make it identifiable as a product from a company.

Enjoy your rest. You'll need it.

Now you, my friend, are an inspiration. I like how you think. More people (many, many more) should follow your example. Society would be better as a result.

I think it is okay.
