This content is user submitted and not an official statement

If it doesn’t happen in their FOX news, it never happened. ( a tactic of totalitarian systems).

https://www.livescience.com/65633-climate-change-dooms-humans-by-2050.html

If we have just a couple years to fix climate catastrophe, and Republicans prevent us from doing what must be done to prevent world wide harm to future humanity,

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/2019/03/climate-change-model-warns-of-difficult-future/

https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/2019/6/13/18660548/climate-change-human-civilization-existential-risk

And not acting to mitigate climate change would be a high crime and misdemeanor.

https://www.un.org/press/en/2019/ga12131.doc.htm

There is a closing window on time to do significant improvement, this is our moment to act decisively https://www.climatecentral.org/news/temperature-spiral-update-20399

When republicans have a moral fiber that allows them to look the other way, ignore science and common sense, when you are a liar in politics, may lead to bad real world effects, for the rest of us.

Are we any different to nazi Germany except our huge self hatred and fear can end all humanity?

Pro-Trump Republican aiming to unseat Ilhan Omar charged with felony theft https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jul/25/danielle-stella-republican-ilhan-omar-charged-felony-qanon-trump

It seems republicans will try to win at any cost, and kill our planet at ant cost, they invite foreign meddling in our elections and sell our souls and our children for a fistful of I’ll gotten dollars

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/25/us/politics/russian-hack-of-elections-system-was-far-reaching-report-finds.html?smprod=nytcore-ipad&smid=nytcore-ipad-share

Even republicans acknowledge this publicly, we are fubar

Wtf Check out this article from USA TODAY:

Trump appears in front of altered presidential seal saying '45 is a puppet'

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-prison-after-office-mueller-863027/

So if we can’t hold a president accountable while in office of crimes and misdemeanors, and if congress does not choose to impeach, and if action is not taken on climate change, those prohibiting action shall also be guilty of crimes and misdemeanors against humanity, and guilty of unreason, and of our world’s collapse

So fix it and bring on the green economy, please republican and Democrat and socialist and democratic socialist leaders

What kind of crazy daily news Americans have to listen to daily nonsense, division, racist inflammation, division, ugly hate, silly 18th century vision of America, brought to us by this commander, how far back in time does he wish us to go back. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/baltimore-officials-defend-hero-cummings-blame-trump-admin-for-housing-conditions

Thank goodness we can maybe travel out of country and get perspective, meet real humans, the USA is not center of universe, we are not a moral compass, not uniting humanity in this tough time for humanity.

Send Trump back to non public service ....Barack Obama shares op-ed criticizing President Trump’s ‘poisoning of our democracy.’ https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/barack-obama-shares-op-ed-criticizing-president-trumps-poisoning-of-our-democracy/2019/07/27/9eb00b32-b09b-11e9-bc5c-e73b603e7f38_story.html?utm_term=.4c631e1e47fc

Not that I always agreed with Obama, his closing of occupy, at least he had decorum and respect for the office, and Americans, he could have bombed less in other places, but he had some redeeming factors, the Paris climate first steps,

Trump is deleting our historical records, our history, our research, we are regressing to a prescientific, foolish, listen to the strong man, non democracy https://amp.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/mar/28/arctic-researcher-donald-trump-deleting-my-citations?__twitter_impression=trueThe

Besides tax breaks for richies, we still have a long way to make America great, imo, we need to look to our future, fix the green economy, give us warren, sanders, some visionaries, not reactionaries, give us some more common good, and social medicine please

Orangoking of the banana republic, we salute you:The United States is a banana republic https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/united-states-banana-republic-190728080118311.html

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 5 years ago

Bananas are the fruit most eaten by us and most likely our favorite fruit. When the Brits break free from the E.U. (it's better to be done if at all BEFORE the well-respected Queen Elisabeth II should pass away { my family's de-facto "babushka" died after her children had moved her to live with them in their tony but densely populated neighborhood; I suspect that she felt emotionally torn away from us, her "socialist" family, as she had come to visit us for a few days, shortly before meeting her traffic demise on her [ploddingly slow elderly alone-by-herself] way going to a park near her new home, [as she probably missed the greenery close to her little hut next to the bamboo forest with a patch of yellow chrysanthemums by the mountain stream] } potentially reducing U.K.'s linkage to Greater Britannia, ) we'll share the bananas with them without the E.U. tariff so that they may evolve into our buddy banana republic.

This observation of the U.S. becoming (it's now being) a banana republic dates back to at least as early as 2013: https://www.salon.com/2013/09/11/10_ways_america_has_come_to_resemble_a_banana_republic/

I went through the list of characteristics there defining our banana republic. We haven't done much at all to address the issues in at least the last six years. It's no surprise to me. We got a lot of stability. For the [Whites'] throne, Trump 2020! That should bring us continuity of the single-party constipation to 2024 if our wish upon a star come true. God save our king.

"Moscow Mitch," https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2018/05/04/the-kooky-tale-of-cocaine-mitch/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.f270c31de8e3 seems to be a misnomer. BEIJING/Cocaine Mitch may be more fitting. According to urbandictionary.com, a mitch is a male version of a bitch which is a babe version.

Keep in mind that the parents of the "bastards" of the narcotics trade (be they of opium, Cocaine, heroine, or fentanyl) share common interest in the welfare of the "bastards" who shouldn't be used as pawns in a divorce settlement. Mutually create (¿through two two-party talks to clarify and redress the extremely dangerous cleavage in Chimerica, then a four-party conference in parallel with a two-party talk, before expanding to the full-neighborhood six?) a "living will" to handle the contigency of winding down the recalcitrant wizards' brew of testicles to avoid rebuilding yet another Great Wall of flesh and blood from the bodies of all sides' volunteers. A mutually agreed-upon "living will" done ahead of time will be far better than a hastily put-together "death plan" when running out of time. The Rough Riders may have to occupy Beijing to dissolve the crux there. Be prepared.

The U.S. Navy needs to protect shipping for Red China in the Yellow Sea to help its brown-water navy (which couldn't sail over blue waters to the Strait of Hormuz to protect its oil shipments) fight the tidal bore that may sink ships.

The brown-water navy can apparently sail to Australia to buy infant formula after the imposition of retaliatory tariff on U.S. infant formula. It seems that Red China's domestic infant formula is undesirable in some ways: elevated pollution or tampering for profit. The U.S. used to make mustard from poisonous lead compounds before the FDA was formed. What's Red China's equivalent? It's easily understood as to why Red China's navy needs U.S. Navy's help. It's because the brown-water navy was too busy ferrying infant formula (they got their proper priority if their women couldn't or refused to breast-feed.) Texass says "Big" and Fuckgina replies with its neighborly "Taint."

Babies' crying can launch "a thousand ships" or "a tidal bore."

Hate and fear not a good way for world to go forward. We need to truly look inside and outside together for answers, bigger answers to bring everyone forward, not individuals (neoliberal Darwinism), not nationalistic darwinism, but a planetary “in it together mentality of humility”. First do no harm. We need to be doctors to ourselves, our community, our planet and world.

We can not have might makes right mentality, but a right makes might mentality, of humility.

As I walk in a “poorer economic” area of world, now, in a foreign land, I can not project the stupid short sopighted thinking of my president and his party of fools. It just makes more hate, more terrorists, rather they be Islamic, or white, hate makes hate, and taking the low road, puts you on the low road

I must walk humbly, and rely on others, and allow others to lead, and show me their ways. I suggest our nation would do good to not just have a superiority “ America first” and f u attitude to rest of world, just not a good way to live and not live

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 5 years ago

Absolutely. I've always said that if you want Peace that is what you deal in & not war. Peace missions could be done by the military. Fly in or ship in equipment and troops - but instead of weapons the equipment is for setting up clean energy production the provide electricity for civilization - schools, Hospitals, dwellings, emergency response. Clean energy production and water plants to desalinate and detoxify Ocean water where water is scarce and pumping equipment and piping to pump water to irrigate fields for agriculture and for drinking and bathing (village and city water supply as well as farmland). The Military could help set up the equipment and work in training the people on how to use and maintain it. Aid should be in equipment and not in money that is more often stolen than used to help the people. Aid could also be in providing clean transportation for farm use as well as for moving supplies and goods back and forth between farms & cities/villages etc. All of the equipment going to build a stable prosperous and healthy country. Much less expensive than waging war & we make good friends instead of creating never ending sources of enemies.

Iyou think that the United States-China trade dispute is going to be easily resolved, you’re not paying attention. It’s so much deeper than you think — and so much more dangerous.

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/08/06/trump-china-currency-manipulator-1637897

If President Trump and President Xi Jinping don’t find a way to defuse it soon, we’re going to get where we’re going — fracturing the globalization system that has brought the world more peace and prosperity over the last 70 years than at any other time in history. And what we’ll be birthing in its place is a digital Berlin Wall and a two-internet, two-technology world: one dominated by China and the other by the United States.

This will be a much more unstable and less prosperous world. Trump and Xi should drop everything and sit down to resolve this crisis before it becomes a runaway train — fueled by populists and nationalists, and amplified by social media, in both countries.

How did we get here? Two things converged: The character of U.S.-China trade changed — it went “deep,” and both President Xi and President Trump overplayed their hands and freaked each other out. It may just be a cleavage of the internet, not a big deal anyway because most people cannot cross the linguistic and cultural, not to mention their own government-imposed barriers. Red China's Great InfoWall has existed for many years. Most Red Chinese online have already been brainwashed in their cage because they don't apply critical thinking skills but they instead try to fit the new information in the perspective of their government-indoctrinated framework. It's why I expect a war with Red China will likely be inevitable despite its people having access to much free-range-open-societies' information. Red Chinese are already largely culturally immoral rotting from Leftist-extremist state-supremacist personality-cult ideology. I discovered in 2007 that Russia was monitoring (¿via a U.S.-based company's "free" app?) foreigners' perusal of the online information about it so Russia was and still is extremely paranoid (like Obama's White grandmother's clutching tighter when a dark-skinned youth walked by.) Despite more than half a century's separation of time and a democratic revolution, Russia is still using the Soviet Union's moo-moo-elimination methods to divert people's attention from its embarrassing facts. Last time around during the global struggles in the Cold War, the U.S. ultimately beat the Soviet Union by so much margin because the U.S. feared for the worst. We wanted no surprises so it's imperative that we barge into so many countries as a bull in a china shop to make certain. Our tendency to "make certain" persisted well beyond the Cold War. "Oops!" Wasn't it strange that Saddam Hussein didn't stash biological and chemical weapons in the basement of his presidential palace? Why? He had never learnt to love and sleep easy on top of deadly weapons. He wasn't Dr. Strangelove.

There is no ideological cleavage among Red China, Russia, and the U.S. at all regarding total-information tracking, data fusion, thereby control, and dominance. (Don't get overly emotional about liquefying the dead ones to feed the babies -- it's been going on since time immemorial; I as a young child ate cemetery guavas and sucked the nectar from cemetery flowers -- there's no difference that I could discern from the non-cemetery ones {I didn't know what dead people were so I didn't know that it was a cemetery plot, either, as it looked to me like the place where I kept my pet chickens;} the machines in the video-clip just makes the process more efficient as memorial foundations do; what matters far more is their intent {it's best to articulate this well; I had surely loved my secret stash of mosquito larvae before Mom dumped them; I also saw no reason why I couldn't go out to eat lunch in restaurants with my schoolfriends anymore and why Mom only spent Dad's earnings and not hers; it became clear after she had spent nearly all of that savings on the Boeing-airplane tickets to fly to New York; Mom was dictatorial and unselfish but it took me years to realize it even after Dad had brushed off my suggestion of Germany as our target of immigration; it's why rampant inflation is very bad for any country because it wrecks the longer-term plans for improvement; speculation and gambling dominate to the detriment of the society; prior to the Federal Reserve's announcement of its new redistribution of wealth and income policy, the stock markets slow to a near halt; most bets have been placed so almost everyone is not doing much business-development work but holding their breaths waiting to see where the roulette ball will settle; does anyone trust Donald J. Trump enough for him to control directly the printing press for the U.S. dollar to redistribute wealth and income?} any razor-sharp and powerful entity is potentially dangerous but its intent to serve with the cuts of a brain-surgery scalpel or to enslave humans {but self-"enslave"ment working extremely hard for one's own self arising from self confidence is freedom and "flow"} with the lure of propaganda is the most important, as my Mom had told me of her worries about me after her having got my [spiritual] godfather's divination of me: "He'll definitely survive but which path will he walk upon, of the light or of the darkness?" when I became very ill as a young kid; I suspect that this event prompted Mom to make me into his godson "silver-chained" with the "stone money" on my neck.) We'll know where you were, where you are, and where you will be, what you did, what you've done, what you're doing, and what you'll do, who was, who is, and who'll be your accomplice(s), your and their wherewithal(s) and whereabout(s), where you've cleaned up and stashed the loot. Everyone who did so-called "wrongs" should probably hire a "food taster" for full-time service because the morally "upright" Russia likes to use poisons for "cleaning." For many years or decades, the U.S. has been using aerial reconnaissance and killer drones in the handful of our battlefields (also killing U.S. citizens near terrorists, of course! it's why I told our nationals to come back to the U.S. ground zero for safety.) Red China manufactures the most aerial machines or drones so it's likely that in the future, the people of means (the Peoples' Liberation Armies) can order through Alexa the aerial-drone delivery of chewing-gum bombs to the "anti-revolutionaries." Deep AI can both serve and kill, depending on its spiritual training and learning under the tutelage of its godfathers'. Many places are being governed by anti-revolutionaries, such as Hong Kong but the Reds will clean them out. Around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Leninist dual-command structure on a Soviet nuclear-missile submarine, cut off from communications with Moscow, saved the World from The Nuclear Holocaust. Stone coins were thereby transferred in gratitude for the dead teaching the living.

The internet's balkanization is neither new nor bad for growing every countries' military-industrial complex, as there will be jobs galore (even I, as a kindergartner, was volunteered to fight the kiddie drone war of our "birthplace-of-the-wooden-gods" neighborhood -- wars create jobs.) Some of us are homeward bound and multilingual-capable, including "Katyusha." I'm looking forward to meeting y'all for the first time on "the battlefield" about the close encounter with the other more pleasant kind of cleavage. Do Do Mi Re Do, Mi Mi So Fa Mi, So So Fa Mi Re, Re Re Fa Mi Do. 「青山橫北郭白水繞東城此地一為別孤蓬萬里征。」 "Yeah, but didn't we drink that ink?" "Umm..."

There are the same number of points with rational-number coördinates on the unit circle as there are on a straight line having at least one such point. Both are countably infinite but the probability of randomly sampling and yielding one such point is zero. Here's the crux of what's at stake: the city of Seoul (not the only one, of course) targeted by the DPRK (et al) for destruction.

A number of eminent Asian cities are at risk, too: Beijing, Tokyo, Osaka, Pyongyang, Busan, Jeju Island, Vladivostok, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Hong Kong. Other Asian ones include: Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Shenyang, Changchun, Dalian, Tianjian, Tehran, Isfahan, Jerusalem, Mecca, Medina, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Dhahran, and Riyadh. Farther afield though non-Asian ones are: New York, Washington D.C., St. Petersburg, Moscow, London, Liverpool, Paris, Rome, Naples, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Novogorod, Volgograd, Murmansk, Sevastopol, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Brisbane, Adelaide, Wellington, Christchurch, San Diego, Guam, Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San José, Seattle, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, Austin, New Orleans, Miami, Tampa, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Sochi, Jupiter, and Palm Beach.

Human rights issues on the Korean Penninsula are plainly and largely a Korean issue needing to be resolved between the DPRK and the ROK. The U.S., Red China, Japan, and Russia have been in six-party talks before with them to no avail. The most logical solution is for Japan/U.S. and Russia to administer the Korean Penninsula since Japan and Russia did such a great job industrializing North Korea and birthing the nuclear-armed DPRK. A new Japanese Empire can field its Imperial (Kwantung 関東軍) Army as before 1945. The U.S. should also help out because it had played such a great role in helping to modernize the economies of South Korea, Japan, and Red China. Russian occupation of the DPRK will not pose much additional enmity between Russia and Red China because they already have the world's longest border. A bit more border may well promote peace between the two countries. The U.S. and Canada also have a very long mutual border so there has been peace ever since the treaty concluding the early birthing conflicts of the U.S.A. with the British Empire's Canadian part.

Is it possible DK that you have decided it actually matters who wins the election? Maybe it would be a good ideal to vote in such a way as to maximize the possibility of a GOP defeat? ANY GOP defeat? If it took Trump to get you there at least that's something, actually I think Trump got a lot of people to the ideal that the GOP MUST lose. Anyway you have to understand that while you are just one person what moves you moves others so it is all information, for those of us with curious minds...

In their own minds they know they are guilty, of the worst crime against humanity, skewers of hate, http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/trump-gives-away-the-game-his-latest-complaints-about-obama

back in early 2009, the Department of Homeland Security released reports about ideological extremists, alerting law enforcement officials to potentially violent groups and organizations. (A decade later, those findings are clearly relevant anew.) At the time, Republicans and conservative activists were apoplectic – even though the report was commissioned by the Bush administration – because much of the right feared that concerns about dangerous radicals might apply to them directly.

In effect, the right heard officials’ concerns about potentially violent, hate-filled militants, and responded, “Hey, that sounds like a description of us.” The controversy, such as it was, ended up saying more about the conservatives who whined than the law-enforcement officials who prepared the report.

A treaty requires at least two parties to be in effect. Red China has been building up its military forces somewhat stealthily for a very long time while speaking of its "peaceful rise" incessantly. It's duplicitous.

The highly probable coming war between the U.S. and Red China (over the DPRK nuclear war issue) will likely be a protracted engagement so a land-based missile option can match Red China's specifically designed as "aircraft-carrier killer" intermediate-range missiles toe-to-toe. Red China could retract these missiles far inland and still use them for killing U.S. aircraft carriers from afar while the U.S. has no option to destroy them from the same distance without using strategic weapons. Filling in this gap can avoid the likely escalation to an all-out nuclear war. Also Red China hasn't disclosed how many nuclear weapons it has or has been making so the U.S. cannot afford to have a strategic surprise.

Do you still remember Red China's artificial island creations for rescuing sailors from sinking or sunk ships? What are they now? Military bases with radars, runways, aircraft, bombers, and missiles. What sailors need these equipment in their rescues? Red China will shoot a missile at a drowning sailor to rescue him or her, right!

Red China cannot be trusted behind its bamboo curtains. Most likely, it has been making more nuclear weapons all along. No one really trusts the accounting numbers in Red China, not even the people who supposedly are controlling and "running" its economy. Red China's announced military spending is most likely underreported. The U.S. needs to have forward-deployed garrison troops to hold down overseas forts in the western Pacific and fight a protracted war in East Asia, hopefully with the help from allies there.

Trace back to the source of human rights violations. Many link to Red China.

An arms race will surely increase the economic growth rates of the participating nations. Just look at how great the economy of the DPRK has become! The DPRK had the highest rates of military spending relative to its GDP in the World. North Koreans are the happiest people. "Guns before butter" eventually makes people eat guns instead of "gourmet chicken butts." It's logical.

It can be rather boring if Red China and the U.S. were the only "global superpowers," delusional or otherwise, to participate in the economic stimulus program, we therefore cordially invite Russia to join our fun. Don't miss out. We have our very own Moscow Mitch in the U.S. Senate but there's never a substitute for a genuine one of Moscow.

We also need to look to science and humanities and spiritual side, a wholistic approach to stop gun violence in USA, lock em up our weapons, only allow after strict licensing, even yearly tax fee on guns, to teach nonviolence problem solving, and help establish faith and non faith based economic development in third world, to foster independence of women, so they can be free of machismo and exploitation. The whole world needs economical housing and purposeful living, with tech and brainpower we should be able to establish self sustaining refuges and villages throughout the world that can sustain study and sustain peaceful life.

The whole world needs economical housing and purposeful living, with tech and brainpower we should be able to establish self sustaining refuges and villages throughout the world that can sustain study and sustain peaceful life.

What I replied to an E-mail from Bernie about the latest two mass shootings - today.

OK - there is more to the rise in incidences of mass shootings other than access to semi-automatic assault style rifles and High capacity Magazines and Bump stocks to make semi-auto into a fully auto machine gun.

The above should be banned.

Background checks? Sure go ahead with that.

Waiting periods to purchase/receive from Gun shop? Sure go ahead with that.

Ban Traveling gun shows from selling? Absolutely go ahead with that.

But all of the above will NOT stop mass shootings. There is a mental health issue that needs to be addressed - these people didn't "just" snap - they came to the point of snapping over time, Months and Years and even Decades of time.

Stress in the lives of 100's of Million's of People has been growing steadily for DECADES as their lives have been attacked for DECADES by increasing work hours and days required of them to keep their jobs as well as to be able to pay the bills to keep a roof over their heads as Millions of People do not even earn a minimum LIVING wage and must have Both Adults in a family working more than full time hours to make ends meet! This results in millions of children basically raising themselves as child care is not affordable nor does it cover all of the working hours where care is needed = day job followed by night job 5 to 7 days a week. This has led to a breakdown of families and so the rise of out of control children growing into adults.

But - that is NOT ALL of the problem. Crime and Violence rise from poverty as does Protest and general unrest in the general population. Symptoms of a deathly ill society! This growing poverty and resulting stress creates monsters who then become mass shooters/killers as well as other monsters who strap bombs to themselves and blow themselves up in public places! QUALITY OF LIFE Will Foster Prosperity & Health & Peace or will Foster Crime & Violence - the difference being is the quality of life = Good or Bad?

Achieving the toughest climate change target set in the global Paris agreement will save the world about $30tn in damages, far more than the costs of cutting carbon emissions, according to a new economic analysis.

https://amp.theguardian.com/environment/2018/may/23/hitting-toughest-climate-target-will-save-world-30tn-in-damages-analysis-shows?__twitter_impression=true

Most nations, representing 90% of global population, would benefit economically from keeping global warming to 1.5C above pre-industrial levels, the research indicates. This includes almost all the world’s poorest countries, as well as the three biggest economies – the US, China and Japan – contradicting the claim of US president, Donald Trump, that climate action is too costly.

Australia and South Africa would also benefit, with the biggest winners being Middle East nations, which are threatened with extreme heatwaves beyond the limit of human survival. However, some cold countries – particularly Russia, Canada and Scandinavian nations – are likely to have their growth restricted if the 1.5C target is met, the study suggests. This is because a small amount of additional warming to 2C would be beneficial to their economies. The UK and Ireland could also see some restriction, though the estimates span a wide range of outcomes. The research, published the journal Nature, is among the first to assess the economic impact of meeting the Paris climate goals. Data from the last 50 years shows clearly that when temperatures rise, GDP and other economic measures fall in most nations, due to impacts on factors including labour productivity, agricultural output and health.

I no longer care about anthropogenic climate change (ACC). Countries still intend to be developed by following the same path taken by the industrialized countries. Even if everything in the entire world were running on electricity, we would still have the same ACC problem. Electricity is a conveyor of energy, not an original source of energy (because we must first create it ourselves.)

The predominate original source of energy favored by the developing countries is coal because it's plentiful and cheap. I'm so glad that the U.S. has pulled out of the Paris Climate Deal to prevent us from being chided in the future brouhaha. The Paris Climate Deal will go down in (coal) flames anyway. Trump did the right thing to pull the U.S. out of a coming fiasco. He's our visionary leader. Trump 2020!

ACC? Deal with its consequences (thanks to M M, the end of the beginning has already ended.) Red China is on this planet with us and had already determined that it would be consequential. The U.S. is inconsequential in comparison except as a partner in war against each other. It does take two to fuck to produce consequences and few mothers willingly and freely admit to their young children that they have been fucked by their Dads. Yet getting fucked is the most important mission for life to continue for any society, including the totalitarian ones which would preferably nationalize (but admit their defeat) their women's uteruses in order to attain maximal power. Hence, the elaborate and consequential ritual of marriage was invented by every culture to celebrate the societally sanctioned (important for keeping social order of new alliances, property distribution, and reputational inheritance) coming fuckings. Now you don't fuck. (we'll ostracize or stone you [in order to preserve the salability of your vagina and uterus]) Afterwards, you must consummate! (as you've been sold!)

The harder life is, the harsher and stricter the patriarchies control their girls and women because they are precious resources and commodities and they can upset social order by popping out babies galore and cause social strifes amongst the people fighting for the resources for survival. Yep, "it's all about the benjamins" accompanying the fertilized ova to avoid social chaos. In the affluent societies with strong social safety nets for raising children out of wedlock, this control tends to be much more relaxed or we may not even have a patriarchy but a matriarchy instead. Where in the U.S. can one find the type of strict attitude about keeping females under social control? In the poorer states in which the living is harder (" but 'Kentucky M M white fish' are jumpin' and the cotton Q-tips are high and dry. Oh, in Whites' Haus, your daddy's rich, and your ma is good-lookin'. ") Hoarding virgins is still "a thing" but not as much in the U.S. anymore where supposedly 40% of our children are born out of wedlock. Marriages allocate the societal and communal resources (the benjamins) to support the fertilized ova. Having so many babies born out of wedlock cannot work in a non-affluent country!

I enjoyed eating the popped corn covered with the yum-yum butt-er blaze when my "I-don't-give-a-shit" Big Brother took me to a cinema to watch "007 vs. Goldfinger" movie, starring the lovewright "Oddjob."

Isolating peoples can lead to misconceptions, ignorance, hatred, and wars. There needs to be free cultural exchange for the ones who so desire in order to make and preserve peace, build trust, and promote mutual prosperity. I know why I no longer fear the Canadians even though I had heard of their "boasting [discreetly] about" having killed off the Yankees who had invaded the British Empire in Canada. Of course, I was alarmed ( perhaps similar to what might have caused my Dad's working for the Allied side in WWII despite Grandpa's long trading connections with Germany and "Greater Germany" [during the German-Empire times at least;] it might well be what my Dad had got as ¿superficial? German cultural influence { Dad taught me my first German word: Eier 阿爺; a schoolmate phonetized Saturday 殺土地 (Sonnabend oder Samstag) } that helped him be released after then-Nazi Germany had rescued [and thus captured] him ) to learn of the British troops from Canada (the Canadians) having burnt down our Library of Congress (they had burnt the White House as well but I wasn't alarmed as much because it was a political symbol.) However, after close to two centuries of peace and having talked face-to-face with the Canadians ( they remembered what were in JFK's inaugural speech {which my Dad many decades ago had also mentioned its being a powerful speech, } ) I became much less alarmed as I understood the psychology of living with "the Leader of the Free World" nextdoor since I had lived with my Big Brother, Jupiter, the fetcher for the water coming from the outer solar system, too. I still savor the thought of his butts being "blazed" by Mom which resulted in the long-lasting "post pacem asinae."

awww HELL they won't care as long as their AC works

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 5 years ago

AC cooling bills do force people to care so I try to help my people by offering my suggestions/advice to minimize their bills.

Exchanging the hotter air for the cooler air in the early morning hours 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. can cool a residence for free. All it takes is to open a high-up window near the top and a matching-size opening near the bottom and the hotter air escaping will suck in the cooler air. Shut both openings around sunrise and pull down the shades to reduce the heat gain from the rising sun.

Generally speaking, the overnight temperatures cannot drop below the dew point (as the moisture condensing releases heat blocking further cooling) so it forecasts how cool the outside air may get in the early morning hours. The bigger the difference between the temperature and the dew point at night such as 11 p.m. before one's going to bed, the more worthwhile the free cooling may be so one can decide whether to get up in the early morning hours to take advantage of the free cooling. The hotter the next day's highest temperature is forecast to be, the more worthwhile it is to get free cooling. The replenishment of the indoor ambient air with new outdoor air in the early morning hours when polluting sources tend not to be operating is generally healthful because harmful indoor chemicals such as formaldehyde (a carcinogen used for preventing mold growth in particle-wooden boards in newer furnitures) are vented to the outdoors. Young children may have a peculiar (and sick!) sense of smell. I remember the "wooden" ¿formaldehyde? scent of my first kindergarten where I learnt 'apple' and 'arm' and the "fragrant" ¿diesel-exhaust? smell of the bustling traffic and stuck traffic jam. I was not the only child who had experienced this. I found it astonishing that a kid liked the smell of a skunk while I was hurrying to shut all of the car windows!

Drier air on hot days feels less oppressive. Before sunrise, dehumidify or run the air conditioning to dry up (electricity rates are often lower or can be made so in the early morning hours than during the peak-demand hottest time in the afternoon) the cooler air which has come in. When the sun rises and heats up the air, it will become even drier. Cool dry air tends to reduce various smells, too. Nearest on Earth to the conditions of outerspace (or the highseas Уте-рус.. моя родина!) in which stranded people are often glad to meet the others, high and dry Antarctica doesn't stink much as the other continents. There is no polar bear rutting to erect a natural ice sculpture to commemorate its phallic greatness (the artistic achievements of the 小さな日本 Promethean-taikonaut festival can still be bettered with an overly compensated gigantic White pootinium-clad("to serve and to protect" against allergens) toadstool-shaped phallus) or a fire-breathing dragon spitting at its heirloom jewels. Never "throw a pearl to a sow." Welcome to teapee time (opium is still unacceptable but with police escort, special [cannabis] brownies have largely become acceptable.)

A hygrometer for measuring the relative humidity of the air and a thermometer for measuring its temperature are useful tools. A wet-bulb thermometer can measure the dew point. These are very handy scientific tools for managing comfort in the face of the climatic onslaughts.

I wised up in my life: don't fight Nature head-on because you'll likely be overwhelmed. Understand Nature and work with it to achieve your desired ends. "Speak to the earth and it shalt teach thee."
