If not, why is he on TV every 5 seconds speaking for the movement? He is also trashing other organizations in your name and creating division.
Is he COINTELPRO or what? Cause that kind of negativity has no place here and he does not speak for me or anyone I know.
First off Hedges knows a fuck of a lot more than you do. Secondly, I can't even begin to see the negativity that he is spouting.
Agreed.
he bashes MoveOn every 5 seconds. And sorry: Chris doesn't know more than I do.
MoveOn is a front for the Democratic party. No more.
MoveOn deserves to get bashed.
They are about nothing but electing another Wall St. Democrat to sell us out just like Obama did.
Moveon should follow its own advice and MoveOn. nobody wants its advice anymore.
I was going to write:
"Who needs a house out in Hackensack?"
In order to subconsciously associate that Billy Joel song "Movin Out" with American Despair, Intellectual Revolt and Deep Democracy a la Chris Hedges.
Movin Out ... MoveOn ... Come on people (whatever) {:|
But then I Googled it and found out that Tea Partiers had already 'Hack'...ensacked that particular meme:

Yes he does. You wouldn't stand 5 seconds in a debate about salad, much less politics.
Oh really. I debate politics every single day. I get paid to do it too. You have no idea who I am. But you should seriously piss off, you're not worth talking to. Oh and your hero Chris? He uses BOTOX. He's a fucking weirdo.
Are you always this articulate when you "debate politics every single day"?
Ok so you just admitted that you are a sock puppet for vested interests and that you are paid to basically manipulate opinion on this board then.... oooooook
Moving to insults don't make you a great debater. Two posts in and you are insulting a man who isn't there???
he's insulting an entire group of people, why not? Did he or did he not say, on TV, that MoveOn is a "reprehensible" organization? I just said, on an anonymous board, that he's a weirdo for using botox. Which is a statement I'll stand by. And I'm no sock puppet, and certainly not one pays me to anonymously debate you on this board. I happen to think your movement (and I'll call it yours since you seem to think its yours and not anyone else's) could be important, and that your youth and your isolationist bullshit will implode your could-have-been-important movement. You might want to listen to that advice. It's actually good advice. It's really simple: Don't piss on your allies, and keep focused on the real problem. I'm not the problem. MoveOn isn't the problem. And if you continue to fight MoveOn instead of the corporations and Wall Street and the real monied interests behind those things, then you'll just simply not only lose, but not have meant anything. What will OWS be a year from now? Hard to say. maybe nothing. MoveOn has managed to last for over a decade. I respect them. Jury is out on you.
A) Where do you get the idea that the man uses botox?
B) Even if he did use botox, what does that have to do with what he is saying?
C) MoveOn is absolutely a reprehensible organization (see: D, below)
D) The Democrats are absolutely a HUGE part of the problem as they are owned lock, stock and barrel by Wall St.
E) You sound like a sock puppet for MoveOn
Ok just say why you don't like him I'm not trying to exclude you. But I came across this post and it seemed very brash and crude i thought it just didnt look right. I honestly should have kept my nose out. I just hate name calling and the Botox thing rubbed me wrong. I just find it more appropriate if you use actual reasons why someone is wrong instead of making light of his botoxusage. Again sorry for butting in
Speaking of which: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQzq_WbH4E0 - Hilarious watching Hedges bitch slap O'Leary.
How dare he demand civil discourse! What a nutbar!
He is never on tv--what are you smoking?
He was on Charlie Rose with Amy Goodman and he seemed rather reasonable. He gets it.
Chris Hedges is a leftist.
He may be one of the behind the scenes organizers of OWS. He did help launch their first newspaper "Occupy Wall Street Journal".
If he is going to be the face of the "movement" ... good luck to the movement. It won't last.
Left is right (correct)
Anyone who disagrees with this movement is morally bankrupt.
Name a policy you disagree with Hedges on?
Liked his book about war, but it was basically an extended exercise in stating the obvious. Maybe he'll be Michael Moore's replacement.
No Chris isn't the leader, he just thinks he is. Actually, I'm the leader.
