Forum Post: Is America Really Ready For This Movement?

Why do humans have such a false need to buy stuff. We buy buy buy, and for what? A false sense of gratification which wears off almost immediately. This is fine because as soon as it wears off the latest version 2.0 is ready to take it's place. This system is so wasteful. I know from personal experience it is so much more gratifying to do something kind for a person in need than to buy something to clutter up my life. I am not convinced that America is truly ready for this movement. America loves their "stuff". They love their reality TV and video games. These things only serve to keep us hypnotized so we won't pay attention to the "man behind the curtain" taking our jobs and our homes. Are we really ready for this movement? I am.
