Today's economic crisis will soon be as bad, and maybe become worse than the great depression. So, should the same measures be taken now, that were taken in those times? Many here advocate a return to Glass Steagall, which was a part of FDR's New Deal program.

Should the OWS movement advocate a return to New Deal policies as a whole? This would entail mostly the creation of credit for infrastructure projects that would provide good paying jobs and improve the economy, and pay themselves off.

Many are fooled into thinking that FDR and the New Deal were counterproductive for the economy. This is mainly due to propaganda issued by the world's major financial centers, such as is written in "The Economist" magazine.
