"We want small government and free enterprise" = "We want to spy on everyone and give billion dollar government subsidies to corporations and banks."
Not to give too much credit to the republicans, remember you can't pass a bill without a majority
Democrat "We want peace!" = "We want drone strikes and sanctions!"
JPMorgan’s subsidy is $14 billion a year, or about 77 percent of its net income for the past four quarters. In other words, U.S. taxpayers helped foot the bill for the multibillion-dollar trading loss that is the focus of today’s hearing. - according to research published by the International Monetary Fund

Million dollar bonuses for CEO's, unlimited resources for the banks... all while America falls apart.
Bridges collapsing? Children in poverty? And they're giving 14 billion to JP Morgan.
Instead of giving 14 billion dollars a year to JP Morgan, the Federal Government could have given every state 280 million dollars a year to improve our cities. .
The 14 billion was a payback for insider trading info.
If every congressman and woman was banned from trading on stocks, and corps were not considered to be people, there would be no problem.
The situation you have right now allows all of these people to commit crime without a chance of punishment.
it reminds me of Lethal Weapon 2 with the crazy guy always committing crimes and saying "Diplomatic immunity!"
