Forum Post: intellectual property and why it should modified

greetings from Australia i whole heartedly support you guys and would just like to touch on something that i haven't seen mentioned but may have been. That is that intellectual property is strangling humanity by preventing development of ideas, products and mostly benefits monopoly. This is most clearly evident in the medical industry, but it also persists though most levels of its use and a democratising of this help us all over the world. my belief is that we would then shift to who can build the best product instead of keeping the ideas and tech in the hands of the few.
