Let us not overlook the insurance companies in this movement. The health insurance companies...and ALL insurance companies rape the average american of billions of dollars every year. Did you realize that flood insurance and homeowners insurance is mandated by the banks...and that flood insurance is under the goverment umbrella of homeland security. What does house flooding have to do with the same agency that checks your bags at the airport? It is the dirty secret that no one is looking at.....it is the health insurance companies and their lobbyists that drive up the cost of health care so they can keep their billion dollar profits. The insurance companies rule this country and our politics just as much as wall street and the banks. Take a look at what the CEO of blue cross made last year.....or the CEO of Geico....or the CEO of Farmers made.
Thank God health insurance exists, but we are charged WAY too much for healthcare. My insurance company probably spends close to $8000/year on me and I'm only 20... Don't get Type 1 Diabetes, not good for your wallet (or your health).
We need the whole healthcare system to be looked at. And Obamacare is NOT a good solution.
