Forum Post: Inevitability: As the wealthy get richer the State grows larger

As the richest corporations and banks get bigger so do the governments. This is obvious because when the bust eventually happens as it did in 2008 you need a large nanny to bailout the fat cats. Yu also need a large security apparatus to protect the wealthy from the wrath of the lower classes and other related conflict that might manifest themselves in the form of religious war of tribal conflict. As the capitalist system makes the rich richer and as the lower classes stagnate you need a powerful media to shape the views of the 99%. Perhaps to confuse and frighten the 99% is also a good method of control. In addition for the sake of creating growth, which requires destruction of capital the capitalist system has to constantly engage itself in wars abroad, whether its the so called war of terror of against other boggy men around the globe. War and conflict are central to capitalism. This also helps keep the domestic population afraid and silenced................For this reason and more I can guarantee the continued aggression of the United States across the globe and the continued social antagonism at home...This is the ultimate faze of Capitalism.
