I have been thinking of what this movement means. I think it can be summed up in the adage of "greed is good" or that for every corporation, profit at any cost is the primary consideration, both personal and what is owed to shareholders. I recently saw a documentary on Nader and it came to me that one pillar of what the 99% should stand for is consumer protection as this is a topic that has been thoroughly investigated and many ideas have been put forth. (look at Carter administration) Why not contact Nadar and the Nadar raiders as they have experience in bringing policies to fruition. I think we are talking about a cultural shift, so it will take more than policies but it can be a major pillar of the movement.
