Forum Post: Important Education Suggestion/Demand.

There is an absolute need to create a high-school class on personal economics (taxes, loans, credit, mortgages etc). My senior government teacher suggested this 5 years ago during his lecture on ignorant education systems and their ability to push through kids with no knowledge of basic financial responsibility. There is OVERWHELMING social pressure for kids to go to a 4 year university right after high school (slightly less in the past few years). It is arrogant and rotten to post on here hating kids who have collected substantial student debts. Everyone is not lucky enough to have a parent who instills responsible financial values.
This knowledge must be added to public school curriculum as a requirement (federal/DOE), or an elective (district by district)

This is not a take-down the system request. This is a realistic goal . If you believe it to be to concrete an idea to be a demand in this protest, than view it as a concept.

My family is very fortunate, successful and I have no debt.
