Hello all,

My name is Nathan, and while it's completely impractical for me to get physically to the protest, I desperately want to help. Like I mentioned, I'm an experienced programmer, and I'm more than willing to help out with anything software-related you might need.

So my question is, are there things going on that could use software to support them? I can write code and get server time for pretty much anything you guys need(Donation managment system, SIGINT, whatever!)

I'd click the 'about' link and try e-mailing them directly and offer your support there. This forum moves too fast as it is so they may not see it. Even if you can't get in touch with them, there is probably an Occupy movement where you live, get in touch with them, they have various teams and I'm sure they have one that can use your help.

I'd like to see a system that would encourage folks to start doing national opinion polls to see what the 99% really think-and how they differ from the 1%.

I'm an experienced software engineer-and I used to work at the National Opinion research center-but my time I can contribute here is limited.
