Presidential hopeful Herman Cain recently said 'If you're not rich, it's your own fault.' This statement that shows Cain is either completely ignorant to the sorts of crimes being committed on Wall Street or is in their pocket.
Instead of giving my own personal opinion why this is true I employ everyone to read the book "Fiasco: The Inside Story of a Wall Street Trader" by Frank Partnoy. It's a fairly short book that has been recommended multiple times by Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger, a couple of extremely wealthy individuals who have protested Wall Street's practices for over a decade.
The book explains the outright crimes the Wall Street investment banks have been committing for years. It's an excellent counter-argument for these almighty politicians who believe the protesters are simply jealous of the hard working people on Wall Street.
This is truly a cause worth the effort. Our American institutions have failed the people and it's time to see some change. OccupyWallStreet must live on.
Cain is a former Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve. He is a banker.
In regards to Warren Buffet, he is a shill who's been working the system for years. His recent $5 billion cash infusion to Bank of America is an example of that. He did the same thing with Goldman Sachs in 2008.
