If you want to successfully occupy Wall Street, then you should learn to understand what those people are doing at the Stock Exchange, who knows who, how the money is flowing, how are they connected to the government, how are laws and government agencies working for them and all such details. If you don't learn these, you will have to rely on them to run your business, economy and government, just as you did until now.

what is the quote? "Know thy enemy" or something like that? It's never a popular view - shortly after 9/11 Richard Gere got boo-ed off the stage for suggesting we first take a moment to understand the terrorists. Just recently Ron Paul got boo-ed at a "debate" because he suggested maybe WE are the one's creating the problem by having military bases all over the world and he suggests to look at it from their point of view.

IF OWS-ers really understood the Wall Street "people" they would find most of them are good people just doing a job/career and working hard at it. If we TRULY understood our enemies, we'd have far fewer enemies.

You are right.

In this instance, however, it is more than that. People will not change business and politics by shouting in the street. They need to know what changes in laws and regulations to ask in order to obtain the desired result. They need to monitor themselves what is going on in the economy. Otherwise they will be fooled again.
