Don't talk to the police. They talk to you to get information to prosecute you. Anything you say is on record and they probably have tape recorders.

A couple easy steps.

1) If approached, don't talk to them 2) If they tell or ask you to do something ask this "Are you giving me a lawful order to....." If they say yes then you must do what they say. If it turns out is isn't lawful, you'll win in court. 3) Don't talk to police or investigators about anything you did or anyone else. 4) You can say, I decline to answer your questions until I have an attorney present. 5)When you go to court, DO NOT WAIVE TIME and request a JURY TRIAL no matter what is it... guilty or not. Doing this will overload the court system.

I'm not an attorney and this isn't official advice, but I know how police and courts work.

This is great advice. I also suggest people take it.
