When I was taking the kids over to their mom's one morning, on the way back, I did what I often do. I turned on the radio to listen to views from the other side of the aisle. This is not only for debate, it's healthy to find common ground. What I heard was far right, anti liberal talking points. I have been exchanging with the radio show via facebook ever since. Including linking to one of my posts on this forum.
Take the 45+ minutes and listen to the show now. I warn you, it's a conservative talk show, you are going to hear things you do not agree with. If you're lazy, you can skip to 40 minutes. For contrast, find any of his shows before 2 weeks ago and listen again.
This is the power we all have to influence, if we are brave enough to accept diversity. We will never all agree on everything, but if we try, we can find enough agreement to break free of this corrupt system and once we have control of our political system, then we can begin to find common ground as a country. You want to lead that charge, so do it.

The conservatives and libertarians have interesting things to tell that are often ignored by liberals and progressives (and the other way around).
I think that the majority of both sides want to get rid of the current corrupt system.
Differences of opinion often stem from ignoring the arguments of the other side.
Well Said.
