As for myself and as stated elsewhere, I'd vote for the separation of private interests & state.
The most important reform would be eliminating campaign contributions from corporations and lobby groups and outlawing their participation in the election process. I would also want to examine ways to ensure that the "revolving door" doesn't amount to a form of delayed bribery with politicians receiving sinecures after office in exchange for votes while they are in office.

Interesting point Dave, but what do we use for exchange instead? Like it or not, human specialization of labour power is now necessary to support our population. So we need some type of system of exchange, do you have a proposal of how to replace money? Personally I would like to see a form of currency based on labor power and human productivity, and a minimum wage set at a living wage so that anyone, anywhere who works full time will receive enough money to live a decent life off of.

yeah, honestly it pains me but the "change" we have seen from Obama is No Change At All. Sorry to say it too, I voted for him, and will likely vote again out of a lack of a better choice.
