If you buy your very own congressman, here's what you can do:
- Get rid of those pesky regulations and Use bank securities and deposits to overleverage 50-1 on investments.
- When these gambles go bad- you can get congress to give you your money back AND you get to give yourself a big fat bonus for having the foresight to buy a congressman.
- Fraudently Sell toxic debt with AAA ratings, and then when the con is discovered, get away with it because you are too big to fail.
- Get rid of anti-trust legislation.
- Ignore immigration laws and threaten states that try and enforce it.
- Weaken and destroy unions, thus enabling you to mistreat workers in any way you want to.
- Change tax laws and create loopholes that allow you to ignore paying your fair share of taxes.
- Get government subsidies even though you are one of the top corporate earnings- as in Exxon, GE, etc.
- Your agricorp gets paid for NOT growing food....
This is what I hope the protest is about.
You forgot: You get tax incentives/breaks to put your business in a state or community.
and in my mind this is what the protest is about. Anyone who says this is about wanting free money or not wanting to work for what you have never had to struggle to survive Viva la revolution!
So you are advocating slavery....buy your own congressman (person)....nice...is this really what the OWS'ers are about!?
No. Few people are actually aware of this, but OWS is entirely about your mom.
Sweet, slavery and "mom" comments....a two-fer.
It takes a special kind of person to read "buy a congressman" and think slavery. I'm just logically assuming your mom must've had something to do with you turning out in this "special" way.
Really?....more "mom" comments...and "special"...that wouldn't be a reference to mentally handicap individuals would it? I'd say you are making fun of them more than me, if I'm so stupid you'd compare them to me....shame, shame....you do gooder...OWS'er.
You're right. It was unfair to the mentally challenged, that I would suggest they would mistake a common euphemism for something literal, as you have here.
See, finally we agree....now was that so hard to admit that u were wrong.
No, it was surprisingly easy to admit that you're stupider than the mentally challenged. Therapeutic, even. I feel a giant weight has been lifted off my chest.
It's all rainbows and unicorns from here on in...wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
