Then why not incorporate them into our political process? Simply have at least one debate in each primary and one debate in the general election take place as a televised parallel water-boarding session and see what happens :trollface: Seriously, though, we do need to something about the quality of journalism and the treatment of political issues by mainstream media outlets. Perhaps a formal return to the Fairness Doctrine and the Equal Time Rule?
