then you're probably not fit to be a citizen of the nation that was intended by the US Constitution.
Yep, tell that to Ron Paul.
Let's watch the wingnuts shit themselves ...
Makes me want to ask him why he's burning the flag, what is he protesting? This certainly gets my attention.
He brings to mind the phrase mouth breathing knuckle dragger.
Watching the wingnuts shit themselves ... LOL

Not to worry, it's a Chinese flag.
We are all just stars in a burning flag....
I've stood by this movement all the way until this issue. I don't really care what point anyone says they're trying to make. As soon as my countries flag is being burned I stop listening to anything else they have to say. I'm far from the only one that feels this way. Give the news channels videos of people calling themselves Occupy-whatever and burning flags and you can kiss any hope, ANY hope, of getting our message across goodbye. You'll be handing our enemies an easy victory because you just had to "make a point" in the most asinine way possible.
Burning a flag was the stupidest thing this movement has ever done. I had hoped it was a prvocatur that did it. If we did i,t than we're not ready to lead a serious political movement.
No matter where you stand on this issue, you must see the Penn & Teller routine

The flag is a symbol of American freedom. It is not referenced or protected by any Constitutionally guaranteed rights as American free political speech is protected by the first Amendment.
Political free speech and expression is an actual Constitutionally enumerated American freedom.
Laws against burning the flag as a form of political speech and expression curtail the actual First Amendment right of American people to freely express their political speech in order to protect a symbol that is not mentioned in the Constitution at all.
Flag protection laws curtail the First Amendment to protect a symbol of the First Amendment.
It makes perfect sense that ronpaul supports flag burning laws because everything that libertarians say and do requires a high degree of cognitive dissonance to accept.

If Occupy can't get its fringe elements under control then those fringe elements will define Occupy in the minds of mainstream Americans. Which will further radicalize Occupy, because the whole thing will become less attractive to the mainstream and more attractive to radical, fringe elements.
Martin Luther King Jr referred to it as "purification".

I agree !
I believe in the 1st amendment , but I don't know that I would burn the American flag .
I may not like what America has turned into , but I love the America that the flag stands for .
What's this guys' problem ; misunderstanding ?
I personally don't even care if anybody burns the flag. It's just a symbol. It doesn't offend me. It's just counterproductive.
