... just in case you are a member of Congress reading these posts and can see the handwriting on the wall for the way big business always gets its way, let everyone know who you are. Identify some of the best suggestions on here and tell the press you are in favor of them.
Now THAT's leadership and not cowardice. Franklin D Roosevelt, Martin Luther King Jr, Robert Kennedy didn't go down in history for secretly getting their palms greased by big business lobbyists.
Bernie Sanders is the only guy I can think of who can take up an OWS banner without flinching. Alan Grayson, who hopefully will be back in the House, would be ok too. I like Kucinich but he may come off a little nutty to the mainstream.

I am a member of Congress.
I can't come out and openly support this movement. Most especially because I am from New York.
All of my Wall Street campaign cash would completely dry up. I need those funds.
Not to mention all of the patronage jobs they provide to my family and friends would completely disappear.
I wish all of you the best of luck, but members of Congress need to be discreet.
