I would like to see the 99% go on strike for one day. society would shut down. There would be no Police officers, only a few people to run hospitals, no grocery stores to shop in, no 911 dispatchers.. NOTHING!! Perhaps that would show the 1% How much they depend on the 99% to make thier money and make thier lives work. All we want is a living wage. If you are working hard and contributing to society, You should be entitled to a decent standard of living. Reminds me of when I learned about the French revolution in high school. The majority of the people were tired of watching the minority live royal, lavish, wasteful lives, while they starved. So they said screw this, cut of the kings head.. And took thier country back.
An organized national strike would be great idea indiccarose!
Here's an even better idea, how about an organized protest movement....maybe call it..Occupy Wall Street.....oops...that name is already taken by a slacker hippie movement.
The people have the power to control this by just cutting the spending to only what they really need and let the government know that you will not increase it until they change the tax system so the rich pay there fair share. We are a consuming economy now so cut back and business will go crazy
Boycott Christmas.
You mean the 46%....that really make up OWS?

I wouldn't even put it at 46%. Let's be generous and say that there are 2,000 protesters in 100 cities across the US. That is 200,000 people which is less than 1% of the 99%. There are more people in the military than there are OWS protesters.
I was trying to keep their hops alive....it makes for good fodder. Hey, I'm working today to support the economy....what about u?
Actually, I am a dirty state employee in one of the few states that doesn't have a public union, so I make crap. But I am thankful that I am employed as many services in my state have been cut, but as I directly support homeland security (to a point), I am relatively stable in my job.
