I have worked in the mortgage industry for a while and I would like to share what I know and what is going on right now, the history of the mortgage crisis with occupiers. I was thinking of doing a blog but this has to be beyond anonymous. Any journalists or people working with occupy who have a way to plug in to the movement, please send me a private message. I'm actually looking for the guy who wrote the story about his parents' house getting foreclosed on in the first Occupied Wall Street Journal but I can't find him online. The more credentials and proof you have of serious ability to connect and keep people anonymous the better!
I wouldn't say I have some revelation that is going to take down the mortgage industry, I just want people to know what is happening with modifications, short sales and fannie and Freddie. There's a lot that people and the media don't know.
this is from 2005 http://thehousingbubble.blogspot.com/2005/05/congress-acts-to-lower-lending.html
this is our government forcing lower lending standards, not banks....
when you lower lending standards you are going to do 2 things 1) make more loans, 2) have more defaults. Agreed?
What do you think jdog?
Just post it. I want to know what you got! Deepthroatloan is anonymous enough.
Do you really think that the mortgage industry is responsible for the housing bubble? Do you know why lending standards were lowered?
