Cause nobody is better than me, that's not ego, that's equality.

You can rule yourself, or someone can rule you, for you!

The Movements now being seen around the world are demanding that recognition.

Vote for yourself, and Hear OUR voices Roar.

Ego is what make makes decision between the ID (desire) and the super ego (social rules)

Why don't we all write ourselves in for Congress? A clear display of our disapproval for how Congress is running in the first place.

[-] 1 points by junglemonkeez (208) 12 years ago

Exactly!

How about we all just write-in "NO CONSENT" in each federal election (Representative, Senator and President) to withdraw our consent to be governed under the Constitution?

Use it to force Congress to call an overdue Article V Convention. What about the Separation of Wealth and State? I will return my consent by voting to ratify an amendment which effects the Separation of Wealth and State (removal of all elite and corporate money from both electoral and representative political processes).

Would you consider this a clear display of our disapproval?

Why don't we all do this? A vote of no confidence in our government is a powerful statement of just how broken the system is and that it needs basic fixing. Use it to develop a system of government that actually represents us and is free from the greed and corruption that got us here in the first place.

If I can get everyone to vote for themselves...and just one other person to vote for me- I can be President. I'm going to talk to my Mom...I bet she would do it.

Nice masterminding take over the world skills. Who's your daddy, Frank Luntz?

[-] 1 points by friendlyopposition (574) 12 years ago

I'm not trying to be President of the world...silly.

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

America isn't the world police force? My bad. Must have been a dream I had.

[-] 1 points by friendlyopposition (574) 12 years ago

Hmm. Good point. I might better get a couple more votes just to make sure. So, can I count on you for a vote? Please don't make me go ask my Dad. President of China is next...

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

Well, perhaps if you consider putting me on your veep short list...

[-] 2 points by friendlyopposition (574) 12 years ago

Now you're talking! Together we will RULE THE WORLD!

(insert maniacal laughter)

Ask Smedley Butler.

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

He says yes.

[-] 0 points by DSams (-71) 12 years ago

I agree...

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

I vote for myself. Now let's end this rigged monopoly game and together, set up a fair system that works for everyone.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 12 years ago

Yeah, all Americans should just write themselves in. And when we all win the election then all of us can run the country...democracy.

I know you are being sarcastic, but I actually think it is a good idea.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 12 years ago

You're right. It is a good idea. But I know that during the voting process, someone is going pay someone else off and get an extra vote and ruin it for everybody. Or some Siamese twins might find a legal loophole and ruin it for everyone.

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

Well, we could always write up and pass some Siamese twin id law to suppress their votes.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 12 years ago

Do you think a Siamese twin would get anything done if one head was conservative and the other liberal. Or would they just argue about abortion and gay marriage all day?

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

Fascinating the way your mind works. I guess it depends on what kind of conservative and what kind of liberal. If there is no rush limbaugh involved, they could probably work it out.

[-] 1 points by junglemonkeez (208) 12 years ago

The way I see it, Obama wins this year, Romney isn't even in the same weight class. And no write in will even come close. But that doen't mean we shouldn't do it anyways. It's about the statement from the people who don't just vote party line.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

I vote for Bernie Sanders.

I'm actually quite serious about this, NOT because I think I'll be president, but because I know that if enough people do the same, it sends a clear message. The People Have Something to Say. And this is a way for those who can't be out protesting, to get involved.

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 12 years ago

I know your serious, and I agree with you. I got what you meant immediately. Jimmycrackerson is the one who I meant was clowning around.

Once voting was done, public records would give a nice list of those that voted for themselves, thus giving you the needed people to start something extremely significant.

[-] 1 points by junglemonkeez (208) 12 years ago

And it would be proof that the individual vote still counts for something.

I too would like for our votes to count for something...
