Wall Street doesn't put a gun to the heads of our elected government officials and forces them to take campaign donations. Politicians take campaign donations of their own free will.
Prove you are serious by protesting the government and the federal reserve, who authorized the 2008 bailouts and have been devaluing our currency.
I agree, this needs to go to Washington. Wall Street is a good place to start but it's only the tip of the iceberg. I see tons of people on here with great ideas that are being directed at the protesters to prove why they are wrong.
Everybody needs to band together on this-- compliment these people who are out there protesting, suggest constructive ways to make to movement better.
If people fight amongst themselves we'll never put up enough of a united front to make a difference.
But the OWS isn't mad at government. What they are mad at is that the government isn't holding guns to people and forcing them to spend even more of their time working for free. See, if we could extend the amount of time per year that people worked for free from January to about June and make them work until September instead, there would be more goodies for us in the OWS. And thats what this is about, more goodies, not 'better government' like you would mean it.
It will happen.
