Alex Jones has been spreading so much disinfo about this movement it's dumb. I'll love to see the reaction on Alex Jones' site after his website is down.

Alex has not been spreading disinformation about this movement. He has criticized it, and he has every right to criticize.

I haven't read up on Alex Jones' comments, but I have to agree about the right to criticism for everyone (including the 1%, covers head from tomatoes) - to prevent any dissenting voice to the ideology is the shortcut to tyranny, the EXACT OPPOSITE OF "TRUE DEMOCRACY", and it proves the opposition completely right about this movement when that happens.

Preventing an opposition voice is not healthy for any movement or entity. That's the sure way to encourage perversion over time. It's also a severe loss of integrity for anyone touting true democracy.

HEY HEY HEY- Alex is great and has opened alot of peoples eyes... hes coming around slowly hes just being cautios. HE DOES believe in the same things we do- he is awake, hes just being careful. He did start 'occupying' the FED. That shows huge solidarity. Dont start spreading lies about Alex because we are in the SAME MOVEMENT.

Wow, nice way to ensure this server gets subpoenaed, chump.

[-] 1 points by e000 (371) 13 years ago

If you want to go and commit a felony, don't be such a kiddie and broadcast it on the central servers of the movement you're trying to "fight" for.

[-] 1 points by e000 (371) 13 years ago

Sorry, that's not nice of me, but seriously, dude - why would you post something like that? If it actually happens, now, the cybercrime feds who get the call may subpoena this server or minimally the logs to try to determine your location. By posting something like that, you are minimally exposing the details of ALL the people here (via logs), and possibly creating a lockdown (the extreme). Nice work. :/ Besides, who gives a fuck about InfoWars? Seriously...

If a movement has a genuinely just and veracious cause, the haters and nay-sayers are just chaff - they'll blow off eventually.By circumventing an opposing opinion, you only bring merit to dissenters and people claiming this cause is a bunch of spoon-fed kids and unemployed who are as brainwashed as the people they're complaining about.

It's not a felony and Alex Jones is too poor to afford to sue. Also 4chan is still up even though countless attacks have been planned on it.

DDoSing is a felony.

[-] 1 points by e000 (371) 13 years ago

Dude, he doesn't have to pay to report a crime grin - check it out for yourself. Google "how do I report a cybercrime to the FBI?" 4chan is too lengthy to discuss here, but yeah, maybe you'll just end up causing a hassle for the people who operate this server, and they'll have to hand over their logs. Do you really think Alex Jones, after having someone from this site proclaim an attack, would not salivate at the opportunity to expose something like that? All he has to do is report it, and let them bring his server into the lab (or a bitwise copy of the drive, maybe, something like that). It won't cripple him, but it may get you in a lot of trouble and cause a headache for the people who admin this server.

Read up first. Do you know anything about cybercrime laws, seizure of data and equipment, forensics, etc.? I bet you're not even using a connection from another country. I bet you logged in from your home PC or school or library, or maybe if you were trying, you're stealing wireless with a faked MAC from some unwary neighbor. That it?

[-] 1 points by e000 (371) 13 years ago

I'm not trying to be a total dick - just saying, this is not the right approach. It just proves the dissenters right, and could get you and these people in a lot of trouble. Pour your energy and technical expertise into something that will help.

Julian can not DDoS, hence Julian's futile effort to encourage someone with intelligence to do his work for him.

If you're hopping from a non-English speaking country, that will make the request from the FBI a little harder. If you're hopping from country to country, that makes it even more difficult. If you're coming from, say, Australia, not so much...

'Sides, Alex Jones = tool, a wide consensus, as I understand, even amongst 1%ers, heh. He's making money on conspiracy, or 'telling it true', whatever. Who cares. If this movement is veracious, it won't matter.

For the love of God resist all calls to fight your fellow 99%! The people risking arrest and pepper spray on Wall Street aren't doing it so you can shut down some fringy website. They're doing it to get Americans to stand up and say they're not going to tolerate a system where the rich collect everything and pay nothing and expect the middle class to quietly wither away and die like it was a law of nature!

Jones will never embrace Occupy Wall Street, nor speak on the behalf of the majority of OWS protesters, because his whole identity and financial livelihood depend on speaking for an ostracized minority of the population (who are extremely loyal to Jones). Listen to his show for 10 minutes...it's like 30% commercials, and all of them for products for people who are uncommonly fearful and paranoid.

Basically I’m saying Jones by definition can only represent an ostracized minority of the population, and since OWS is fundamentally a populist movement, it just doesn’t make sense that he would want to or be able to support the movement. We may have some common enemies/demands as Jones, but fundamentally Jones is uncomfortable recognizing any populist movement as anything but an NWO orchestrated stunt, so he'll always call OWS protesters "well-meaning but horribly misguided."

But please, no-one DDoS Jones. The last thing you want to do is attack the guy. He will interpret any effort to ‘take him down’ as proof that the NWO is afraid he’s hitting the truth too head on, and make him redouble his efforts. Let him do his thing and appeal to his kind of people.

I think you should just do your part to raise awareness of OWS and directly reach out to people to correct any misconceptions you believe they have about OWS.

Alex is beautiful and when the anti-Christ rises, I'm gonna high tail it on down to Texas, find out where he is going, and go with him and his people to escape the wrath and mayhem.
