"I have a dream."
I dream of walking in the streets wearing just a T-shirt, with no pants and no underwear, with my "jewels" hanging free between my legs.
BUT, I'm not free to do this, because BIG GOVERNMENT wants to regulate the way I dress myself.
If I walk in the streets dressing that way I want to, BIG GOVERNMENT threatens me with arrest.
Where is freedom in this country? Why the BIG GOVERNMENT has the right to impose that I have to wear pants?
Why I can't walk half-nude in the streets?
I hate regulations! Down with regulations!
Some people are very hypocritical. They complain that women are obliged to cover their heads in Islamic countries, but don't complain that women are obliged to cover their chests in the United States.
And they don't complain that I'm forbidden to walk in the streets without pants...
Government regulation is BAD!
Don't you think?
Don't worry, I'll answer you, so you don't have to post to yourself anymore.
Because you being naked infringes on my right not to see that. Simple.
No drinking in public is a better one. So long as I don't get disruptive or violent/abusive, which happen to be separate enforceable crimes, why the hell can't I drink a firgan beer where I want to.
But nakedness? If your not a really hot young women, then I don't want to see it.
If you don't want to see my "jewels", just look to the other side!
The government can't regulate the way I dress myself!
DOWN WITH REGULATIONS!
But to look the other way means I would have already caught a glimpse.
Down with some. Like drinking beer in public. I'm down with that.
sigh
It's unfortunate you don't understand the very issue you're trying to troll. Otherwise, you might be effective.
Governmental law isn't what people are opposed to - it's federal power being usurped from the states and overstepping of the vested constitutional authorities.
At the end of the day, giving too much power to one entity is a bad move. Regardless of political ideology.
How much is "too much" power?
I think that giving the government the right to regulate the way a I dress myself is giving "too much" power.
Where is my right to freedom?
The government's job is to ensure you (and everyone else) are not infringing on the rights of the other citizens. Period.
Walking around undressed has been deemed inappropriate by society and thus walking around naked infringes on their rights.
Deemed inappropriate by society?
Society can impose rules on me? "Society" reminds me of "socialism". Are you standing for socialism?
Actually I see nothing wrong with a bit of socialism. I think too much socialism is a bad thing just as I think too much capitalism run unchecked is a bad thing.
With that said, society imposing rules for civilized living is not the same as socialism. The two are mutually exclusive.
If you think you're walking me down some pathway so you can show me that socialism is good - you're barking at the wrong tree.
Socialism is BAD!!!
My mom taught me that during the Cold War, in the 70's!!
Socialism is oppression! Down with socialism! Down with regulations!
I'm tired of this.
Who is with me against the evil BIG GOVERNMENT?
The way I dress myself is not the government's business!
I want my freedom!
Stop BIG GOVERNMENT regulations!
Down with regulations! Down with regulations! Down with regulations!
